From... All dharmas are of one taste, in the emptiness and signless peace, the mind does not abide anywhere, nor does it cling. This patience will bring great benefit. The diligence initiated by the wise is to abandon all attachments. The mind does not abide anywhere, nor does it cling. That is called the field of true merit. For the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings, practice meditation, abandoning heavy burdens. Eliminating all defilements is the characteristic of a true wise person. Thus it is said. Prostration is also this. As the "Sky Treasure Sutra" says: Just as water merges into water, just as oil merges into oil, this self-knowing wisdom, seeing it well is prostration here. Thus it is said. Furthermore, if this is present, it is also an offering. As the "Sutra of Meeting Father and Son" says: Relying on emptiness as the basis of dharma, following whatever pleases the realm of the Buddhas, teaching these is offering, this offering is supreme. Thus it is said. The "Nectar Secret Tantra" says: Pleasing is the offering of meaning, not pleasing by offering incense and the like. Making one's own mind workable is a great pleasing offering. Thus it is said. Furthermore, if one possesses this, confessing sins is also this itself. As the "Sutra of Perfect Purification of Karma" says: Whoever desires to confess, sit upright and look correctly, look correctly at the truth, this is the best repentance. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in this very meaning, the complete keeping of moral discipline and vows is also contained. As the "Sutra Requested by the Son of the Gods" says: Whoever does not have the arrogance of holding vows or not holding vows, that is the discipline of nirvana, it is the perfect purity of discipline. Thus it is said. The "Ten Wheel Sutra" also says: Abiding in a household, not even shaving hair and beard, not even wearing dharma robes, not even receiving vows, yet he is called a noble dharma nature, a definitive bhikshu. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in that very meaning, the three of hearing, thinking, and meditating are also completely contained. As the "Non-Abiding Tantra" says: If one eats genuine food that is not artificial, all schools will be satisfied. Children do not understand, relying on terms and words, everything is the characteristic of one's own mind. Thus it is said. Saraha also said: Reading is holding, and

That is meditation. Holding the teachings in one's heart is also that. There is no view higher than that. So it is said. Furthermore, that very meaning is also the practice of offering torma. In the Secret Nectar King Tantra, it says: Offerings and tormas, etc., all actions and activities, once the very nature of mind is realized, everything is definitely included in this. So it is said. Now, if meditating on the essence or the nature of mind alone includes all of these, then how is it that so many stages of the path are taught? It is for the sake of leading those who are ignorant of the reality and have inferior faculties. In the Sutra of the Ornament of Wisdom Light, it says: Explaining the relationship of cause and condition, and also teaching the gradual entry, are also taught as a means for the ignorant. In this spontaneously accomplished Dharma, what need is there for gradual training? So it is said. In the Source of the Blissful Supreme Samvara, it also says: In this way, one's own being is like the sky, and one attains the nature of constant liberation. So it is said. In the Sutra of the Precious Sky, it also says: Until one enters the ocean of the sphere of Dharma, the grounds and paths are different, but once one has gone to the ocean of the sphere of Dharma, there is no ground or path to traverse even a little. So it is said. Jowo (Atisha) also said: If the mind is stable in single-pointed equipoise, then physical and verbal virtue are not the most important. So it is said. The signs of habituating to wisdom are: one becomes mindful of virtue, afflictions become less, compassion arises for sentient beings, one makes effort in practice, all distractions are abandoned, and one becomes unattached and without clinging to this life. As it is said in the Precious Garland: One who is accustomed to emptiness obtains mindfulness of virtues. And so on. So it is said. The fruits of wisdom, know that there are two kinds: ultimate and temporary. Among them, the ultimate is the attainment of unsurpassed Bodhi. As it is said in the Seven Hundred Prajnas: Manjushri, if one practices the Prajnaparamita, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva will quickly attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. So it is said. Temporarily, all happiness and well-being arise. As it is said in the Holy Collection: Sons of the Buddhas and Hearers
