Thus it is said. From the accomplishment of the meaning of meditation, it is said that during meditation, one does not meditate on anything; it is merely nominally called meditation. Thus it is said. Saraha also said: Whatever you are attached to, abandon it. Once realized, everything is it. No one else can know other than that. Thus it is said. Jowo also said: Profound and free from elaboration, the very thing, the luminosity that is uncompounded, unborn, unceasing, primordially pure, the nature of nirvana, the Dharmadhatu without beginning or end, with a subtle eye of wisdom, without conceptualization, look without sinking or agitation. And, in the Dharmadhatu free from elaboration, abide in wisdom free from elaboration. Thus it is said. Abiding in this way is the unmistaken means of familiarizing oneself with the Prajnaparamita. Thus, in the "Seven Hundred Prajnaparamita Sutra," it is said: Not taking, grasping, or abandoning any dharma is the meditation of Prajnaparamita. Not abiding in anything is the meditation of Prajnaparamita. Not thinking or discriminating about anything is the meditation of Prajnaparamita. Thus it is said. In the "Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra" also, it is said: This meditation of Prajnaparamita is not meditating on any dharma. Thus it is said. Again, in the same Sutra, it is said: The meditation of Prajnaparamita is the meditation of space. Thus it is said. So, how does one meditate on space? Again, in the same Sutra, it is said: Space is without conceptualization; Prajnaparamita is also without conceptualization. Thus it is said. In the "Aryasamucchaya Sutra" also: Not thinking of birth or non-birth, this is the supreme practice of Prajnaparamita. Thus it is said. From the mouth of the teacher Vagisvara also: What should be thought, do not think; what should not be thought, do not think either. If you do not think of thought and non-thought, then you will see emptiness. Thus it is said. How does one see emptiness? As it is said, in the "Compendium of True Dharma Sutra": Seeing emptiness is not seeing. And, the Bhagavan, not seeing all dharmas is truly seeing. And, not seeing anything is Suchness.

Thus it is said. Also in the Madhyamaka Small Truth Sutra, it says: 'That which is unseen, when it is seen, is spoken of in the Sutra of Profound Depth.' Thus it is said. Also in the Arya Samucchaya Sutra, it says: 'Saying that beings see the sky, contemplate how the sky is seen. Thus, the Dharma is seen, as the Tathagata has taught.' Thus it is said. In the post-meditation period, view everything as illusory, and accumulate as much merit as possible through generosity and other virtuous deeds. Thus, in the Arya Samucchaya Sutra, it says: 'Whoever knows the five skandhas to be like illusions, and does not differentiate between illusion and the skandhas, free from various perceptions, and practices peacefully, that is the supreme practice of the Perfection of Wisdom.' Thus it is said. In the Samadhiraja Sutra, it says: 'Magicians conjure up various forms, horses, elephants, chariots, and various things. But there is nothing real that appears in them. Know that all dharmas are like that.' Thus it is said. Also in the Reality of Conduct, it says: 'Even though there is non-conceptual mindfulness, the accumulation of merit is never interrupted.' Thus it is said. Thus, through familiarity, the meditative equipoise and post-meditation become indistinguishable, and one becomes free from arrogance. Thus it is said: 'Whether one is in meditative equipoise or arising from it, there is no arrogance. Why? Because one has fully understood the nature of Dharma.' Thus it is said. Thus, if one abides for even a moment in the state of ultimate emptiness, the Perfection of Wisdom, it is more meritorious than listening, reciting, or performing virtuous deeds such as generosity for eons. Thus it is said: In the Sutra of Revealing Reality, it says: 'Shariputra, compared to listening for an eon, if one cultivates the Samadhi of Reality for the time it takes to snap one's fingers, merit increases. Shariputra, therefore, diligently advise others to cultivate the Samadhi of Reality. Shariputra, all Bodhisattvas who have been prophesied to attain Buddhahood abide solely in this Samadhi.' Thus it is said. Also in the Great Extensive Sutra of Realization, it says: 'To enter into a session of meditation for a moment is more meaningful than giving life to all beings in the three realms. ' Thus it is said.
