"This offering is sacred." Thus it is said. An offering without focus is meditating on the meaning of selflessness, which is the supreme offering. As it is said in the chapter requested by the son of the gods, Blo gros rab gnas: A Bodhisattva who desires enlightenment, for as many eons as there are sands in the Ganges, with flowers, incense, and likewise food and drink, surpasses offering to the supreme Buddha. By what does one offer to whom, without self and belonging, without a person, hearing such a Dharma, obtaining the tolerance of luminosity, that is offering to the supreme, holy being. Thus it is said. Also, in the Sutra of the Great Lion's Roar, it says: Not generating any perception or characteristics is offering to the Tathagata. Engaging without acceptance or rejection, and without duality, is offering to the Tathagata. Friends, the body of the Tathagata is characterized by non-substantiality, therefore, it is not appropriate to offer by dwelling on the perception of substantiality. Thus it is said. The offering of offering is finished. The second is, explaining the confession of sins, in general, all good and evil depend on the intention of the mind, the mind is the master, and the body and speech are servants. As it is said in the Ratnavali: Mind precedes all dharmas, mind is known as the chief. Thus it is said. Therefore, having been instigated by afflictions such as attachment and hatred, committing the five inexpiable sins, or the five near inexpiable sins, or the ten non-virtuous actions, or breaking vows and commitments, etc., what one has done oneself, or caused others to do, or rejoiced in the doing, these are called sinful non-virtuous actions. Moreover, having been instigated by afflictions such as attachment and hatred, even studying, contemplating, and meditating on the holy Dharma is non-virtuous. The result of these is the arising of suffering. As it is said in the Ratnavali: Attachment, hatred, and delusion, the actions produced by these are non-virtuous, from non-virtuous actions come all sufferings, likewise all the lower realms. Thus it is said. It is also said in the Bodhicaryavatara: From non-virtue comes suffering, how can one be certain of liberation from this? Day and night, I should only think of this. Thus it is said. Therefore, all sins

One should confess. If you wonder whether confession can eliminate sins, it is very certain. The Great Nirvana Sutra states: 'Even after committing sins, if one regrets and corrects them later, it is like muddy water being cleared by a clear water jewel, or like the moon becoming clear after the clouds have dispersed.' It also says: 'If one regrets sins and confesses without concealment, no matter how severe the sins, they will be purified.' So, how should one confess? Confess through the four powers. As the Sutra of the Four Dharmas states: 'A compassionate Bodhisattva Mahasattva who possesses four dharmas will overwhelm the sins that have been committed and accumulated.' What are these four? They are: the practice of thorough condemnation, the practice of remedies, the power of turning away from wrongdoing, and the power of reliance. Among these, the power of the practice of thorough condemnation is: to generate strong remorse for past sins and to confess openly before an object of refuge. So, how should one generate remorse? There are three ways to generate remorse: generating remorse by considering it meaningless, generating remorse by considering it fearful, and generating remorse by considering the need to separate quickly. The first is: The sins I have committed, sometimes I committed them to conquer enemies, sometimes to protect relatives, sometimes to maintain the body, and sometimes to accumulate wealth. When I die and go to the next life, enemies, relatives, land, body, and wealth will not accompany me; only the karmic obscurations of evil deeds will accompany me, and they will arise as executioners wherever I am born. As stated in the Sutra Requested by the Householder Dpal sbyin: 'Parents, siblings, children, and wives, servants, wealth, and all the retinues, after death, they do not follow. Only actions follow, and they go.' It also says: 'In times of extreme suffering, children and wives cannot be a refuge; one must endure suffering alone; they will not take my share at that time.' The Bodhicaryavatara also says: 'Everything must be abandoned and departed, but I did not understand this,'
