If one just stays there, if one just understands, one cannot penetrate, It's slightly not okay. If it arises from within, oh, that is the arising of vipassanā (Tibetan: lhag mthong) on that state, because one sees it nakedly by hitting stone against bone, except for seeing, if one introduces it beforehand, it will remain in the realm of understanding and become dull. Afterwards, it will also hinder others from guiding, etc., so one does not introduce it, and if conceptual thoughts continue uninterrupted, one will not see the essence. Without seeing the essence, one cannot introduce it. If one does not truly recognize it, one cannot enter the path of meditation. One should also observe during good experiences, and repeatedly clarify during bad times. Learning the method of cultivating practice is called guidance. Understanding meditation is called the completion of guidance, so by cultivating without distraction from that state, there is no difficulty in generating experience and realization, and in order to see the essence, generate conviction, and cut off doubts, now one must introduce it. Generally, meditation has two aspects: shamatha (Tibetan: zhi gnas) and vipassanā (Tibetan: lhag mthong). Among them, when the mind is relaxed in its own nature, all conceptual thoughts subside in themselves, and one abides clearly and brightly in one's own nature, not clinging to the distractions of this worldly life, Comfortable and relaxed, all afflictions subside in a subtle way, and one abides single-pointedly in the nature of virtue, and one has autonomy no matter how long one stays, and one does not even feel the coming and going of breath, that is a special shamatha. That experience is important, and it is not okay not to understand realization, and it is not okay to be without it. Without clinging to that, by cultivating, from that state, without dullness or agitation, without falling into neutral indifference, but exerting all effort, for the nature of the mind, like this, it is free from all color, shape, speech, thought, and expression, Within the scope of one's own mind, like this, there is knowing and experiencing, but it cannot be expressed in words, like the happiness of a youth, the union of clarity and emptiness, free from all clinging and extremes of elaboration, not defiled by any Buddhist thoughts, not disturbed by any worldly thoughts. The awareness that is not bound by shamatha and non-thought, abiding naturally in its own position, that is the root of all qualities, called ordinary awareness or mind. If one does not know that, It is ignorance and samsara, and if one knows it, it is wisdom, it is co-emergent wisdom or nirvana, or it is called primordial, or it is called luminosity, or it is called vipassanā (Tibetan: lhag mthong), now it is the beginning of distinguishing samsara and nirvana. Compared to the lama's introduction, the student earlier

It is like meeting someone you knew before, recognizing them. Recognizing that is called recognizing the mind. A student with great wisdom is not made by a lama with skillful instructions. It has always been that way, but it was previously obscured by afflictions and conceptual thoughts, so it was not recognized. Now that conceptual thoughts have ceased, it is recognized through pointing it out. The mind is clear and transparent without grasping, and although the mind's nature is empty, it appears vividly. The mind's characteristic is the essence of emptiness and clarity, the nature of awareness, clear and bright without interruption, that is its essence. If you cultivate from that naked recognition, constantly and without wavering, inconceivable benefits will arise, and abiding in that will give rise to insight. That is the encounter. This is the one true pointing-out, so it is important to grasp the key points and practice them, and to cultivate them constantly. Therefore, recognize and cultivate in this way, and five. The second view is to point out from the basis of cutting off the root, from the state of non-thought, and to point out from the state of movement or conceptual thought, that is, from the state of movement where conceptual thought moves or is allowed to change. The first is that when you look at the awareness that abides in a state of non-thought, clear and transparent, free from sinking and excitement, you do not feel that it has color, shape, etc., and there is no clinging to the idea that "this is it." If you know that there is something that does not arise or cease, then insight arises in non-thought. The second is that if you say that all moving conceptual thoughts are empty and free from arising and ceasing, then that is empty talk. If arising, ceasing, and abiding, as well as shape, color, etc., are free from grasping and disappear without a trace, then a little realization has arisen. If there is no clinging to the idea that "there is no grasping," and if appearance and liberation occur simultaneously in a state of non-attachment, then that is the encounter. Furthermore, if there is no good or bad or difference in the mind of thought, the object of thought, the time of abiding, and the time of movement, as well as previous thoughts, previous conceptual thoughts, etc., but rather a naked awareness, or after the thought has been withdrawn, or after the thought has disappeared, it does not enter into clear emptiness, but the thought that arises spontaneously appears as clear emptiness, or if you realize this, then that is the encounter. Now, the movement of thought, the abiding, and the very nature of thought, all three appear nakedly as clear emptiness, realizing this
