Regarding learning, there are three aspects. First, the physical posture and so on should be free from faults as mentioned above. The method of settling the mind should also be such that when it is scattered, it settles in the state of scattering, and when it is still, it settles in the state of stillness, observing its essence. In accordance with the above method of settling, as stated in the instructions: Like a Brahmin spinning thread, Let the yogic awareness relax. Like a lamp unmoved by the wind, Clear, non-conceptual, and unscattered. Like a crow pushed from a ship, Do not grasp the mind scattered on objects. Like a flame spreading in a forest, Let whatever appears be the Great Seal. Like stars appearing in the ocean, Let appearances and existence be the Great Seal. Like a wise person training an elephant, Let the yogic awareness go wherever it is comfortable. Like a flowing river constantly flowing, Let the mind itself always abide in the Dharmakaya. Just as fields need water and fertilizer, So should yogis rely on desirable objects. In this way, without fabrication, naturally and relaxed, without focusing on anything, and without distraction, settle the mind. This is called being skilled in beginning meditation. Second, being skilled in interrupting meditation means not prioritizing long periods of time, no matter what you are settling on. Instead, abandon the unity of samadhi and physical posture, and let it go. Practice short, clear, and frequent meditations, without letting meditation and anger become enemies. Generate joy, and practice clear, bright, and energetic meditation. Finally, being skilled in cultivating experiences means not clinging to or being attached to any experiences of bliss, clarity, or non-conceptuality that arise. Do not engage in the separation of good thoughts, bad thoughts, or neutral thoughts. Instead, allow experiences to arise through the power of realization. This is called gaining experience through realization, so you must be free from attachment to experiences. The opposite of this is called losing realization for the sake of experience, so you must be skilled in cultivating without being attached to experiences. The difference between experience and realization is that experience does not go beyond the realm of the mind, so it is unstable. For example, it is like the sun in the clouds, with bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality taking turns, sometimes all three being high, sometimes one being high, and sometimes none appearing. By cultivating without clinging to this, the impurities of the mind are purified, and realization naturally arises. Furthermore, if you experience in a dualistic way of subject and object, it is experience. If it arises without an object, it is realization. If the mind is experiencing, it is experience. If the mind itself arises as its own essence, it is

Experiencing the nature of meaning is experience. Recognizing the self-character, manifestly knowing, and understanding the distinctions of meaning is realization. If there is something to meditate on or experience in the meditator's own mind and in the bliss, clarity, non-conceptuality, and emptiness experienced during meditation, then it is experience. If the meditator and the meditation are non-dual, and it is not just a mental construct or understanding, but manifestly known, then it seems to be realization. Here, one session can be done, or it can be omitted. Furthermore, experience also has three aspects: bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality. In the experience of bliss, first, there is physical bliss mixed with afflictions; then, affliction-free bliss pervades the entire body; finally, even when touched by heat or cold, a subtle bliss arises. Mental bliss is joy and contentment in the mind, knowing that all the pain in the mind has disappeared, feeling refreshed, very clear, or a kind of joy that cannot be identified. At this time, one might think that one is completely free from afflictions and has become a noble being. One might laugh for no reason, or think, "There is no one happier than me, everything can be abandoned, the only thing to do is practice," giving rise to many arrogant thoughts, wanting to dance, making meaningless sounds, wanting to do all sorts of things. Sometimes, even when meditating or doing things, one does not want to do it, feeling that one cannot meditate at all, or falling into emptiness, or feeling that afflictions seem to have increased, feeling that consciousness is dull or scattered, unable to remember anything, wanting to do all sorts of things, feeling that one cannot meditate. In the experience of clarity, the clarity of the five senses is a sign that the mind has grasped something. In the field of vision, there will be appearances such as smoke, sparks, mirages, lights, the moon, the sun, flames, or bindus, clusters of oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), rainbows, and so on. Furthermore, even when closing the eyes, one can see clearly, and one will see and experience various phenomena such as walking, colors, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations. The clarity of the mind will generate all sorts of thoughts, and awareness will flicker, but one should know that these are in accordance with dependent origination. One will feel clear and bright, without dullness or sleepiness, and feel that one seems to understand all the dharmas. The experience of non-conceptuality is: first, the mind is focused on the object of focus, then coarse conceptual thoughts disappear, and one remains on the object of focus. Finally, one will feel that all conceptual activities have subsided. Regarding these...
