It is through the power of habituation that realization arises; otherwise, mere hearing and thinking, debate and examination, as well as great knowledge, sharp intellect, eloquent speech, skillful argumentation, and expertise in reasoning, etc., cannot lead to realization. As it is said in the Gandavyuha Sutra: "The true teachings of the Buddha cannot be accomplished by mere hearing. For example, some are carried away by the river, unable to resist, and are forcibly taken away, dying of thirst. Not practicing the Dharma is also like that." And up to "Just as at the crossroads of the road, all perfections are proclaimed, yet I cannot attain them; not practicing the Dharma is also like that." Zhang Rinpoche said: "The arising of the wisdom of realization does not arise because one desires it. It does not come from being skilled in debate. It is not known by hearing much. It is not within the realm of logicians." He also said: "The spontaneous arising of the wisdom of realization does not arise from wanting and indulging, nor from being skilled or unskilled in debate, nor from hearing much or hearing little, nor from being wise or foolish, nor from having good or bad experiences, nor from strong or weak effort, etc. None of these will cause it to arise. Rather, it is known by relying on the skillful means of the Lama and one's own merit. Relying on the skillful means of the Lama means pleasing the realized Lama, and it arises through the power of blessing. One's own merit means that it arises for those who have the potential for practice. Therefore, the wisdom of realization, because it abides on the path of blessing, is within the realm of those with faith. It arises for those who are respectful. It is realized by those who practice. The companion of all is diligence. It is seen by those with fortunate and superior faculties. It cannot be comprehended by those who are skilled in words. For such fortunate individuals, the arising of non-dual realization is through the blessing of the holy Lama, from the center of realization, the Dharmakaya arises, from the center of mind itself, non-duality arises, from the center of afflictions, wisdom arises, from the center of experience, realization arises." And so on, these arise from the sutras, tantras, and the teachings of the Kagyu lineage. Starting from the subsequent meaning, if we do it in common, each of the five ways of dispelling wrong conceptions is practiced once, making twenty-three Dharma sessions. If we summarize, we can show the five together and practice once here. Second, regarding the three wise ones.
