Like experience, that basis is not established. All the dharmas of samsara and nirvana, like all the rivers such as the Ganges and Pashu, become one taste in the outer ocean, because there is no difference, it is the one taste of samsara and nirvana. So it is said. All discriminations, because color and shape, etc., are not established, so in the nature of reality, they are spontaneously accomplished, all appearances are real from the beginning, free from one and many, so they are spontaneously accomplished in the dharmakaya, do not expect any fruit. So it is said. Je Gotsangpa said: All these appearances are your own mind. Although it appears, it has no self-nature, like the image in a mirror or the moon in water, so let go without clinging. Appearance does not need to be blocked. If you stay in non-clinging, that is the Great Seal. Protect that without distraction. That's enough. So it is said. In general, the appearance of various kinds is your own mind. Appearance and emptiness are inseparable and have always been present, so there is no need to grasp awareness internally. Also, when form appears in the field of the eye, that which appears as form is your own mind. Form appearance and emptiness are inseparable. By naturally abiding without clinging on the form, the grasped and the grasper are naturally liberated. Similarly, even if sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma flow in the mind, by naturally abiding in the moment of flowing, it will be naturally liberated. Therefore, instead of meditating on awareness, by meditating without clinging on the objects of the six external aggregates, the six aggregates will appear as meditation, and realization will arise. It is also necessary not to be bound by the thought of "I have done retreat". It is enough if you do not look outside yourself, and even if others look, you do not grasp it as a thought. In short, meditate on whatever harms awareness. Meditate on the disease when you are seriously ill. Meditate on hunger when you are hungry. Meditate on cold when you are cold. Meditate on unhappiness when you are unhappy, then all adverse conditions will appear as meditation. Why is that? Because the appearance of adverse conditions itself is your own mind. Because there is no dharmakaya apart from the mind. By meditating in this way, there is no way that realization will not arise. The nature of mind is empty by nature, there is no need to meditate intentionally, in a state of non-meditation and non-distraction

it is unavoidable. Thus it is said. The accomplished Orgyanpa said: From the perspective of appearance and awareness, appearance refers to the Alaya-consciousness that transcends the realm of speech, thought, knowledge, and expression, appearing on the five sense doors. That is, the object of the eye sense is form, the object of the ear sense is sound, the object of the nose sense is smell, the object of the tongue sense is taste, and the object of the body sense is touch. All of these remain in a state of non-conceptual non-indication. The mind, which follows the five sense doors, transforms and manifests countless high and low things, which is called appearance. Attachment to it causes wandering in samsara. The cause of attachment is also the increased power of the habitual tendencies of the deluded mind from beginningless time, which is why it appears in various ways. In reality, there is not even a sesame seed's worth of things that are truly established. For example, in a dream, the appearance of habitual tendencies can cause various experiences of happiness and suffering, but in reality, nothing is truly established. When one wakes up, one realizes that it is not real. Or, countless illusory horses, elephants, and so on appear, but they do not appear because they are truly established. Rather, they are false appearances that arise from the power of illusory substances and mantras. Similarly, the habitual tendencies of the deluded mind cause appearances to seem real or permanent, but the one who perceives them does not exist separately from one's own mind. Awareness is also called the agent that is apprehended by the five sense consciousnesses as having an object. There is not even a moment in which awareness exists separately from appearance. Therefore, appearance is awareness, and awareness is appearance. As the sutra says: Form is emptiness. Emptiness is form. Emptiness is not other than form. Form is not other than emptiness. Thus it is said. When appearance arises, do not meditate on anything, do not fabricate, but simply relax and abide without distraction, and the realization of union will arise on the appearance, and one will go easily into bliss. There, it is not necessary to negate appearance, nor is it necessary to establish emptiness. Although many appearances arise, they are of one taste in the nature of one mind, so the many are of one taste. Appearance does not remain outside, and awareness does not remain inside, so union is manifested. Continuing to cultivate that, the one taste will appear as many, appearing like brocade spread out at the midday sun of dependent origination. Thus it is said. Akshobhya.
