I am not stained by sin, like the petals of a lotus in water. As it is said. "May" is a word of such aspiration. Secondly, the way to unite it with emptiness is: The power of unbearable compassion is also unceasing, At the time of love, the essence of emptiness appears nakedly. This supreme path of union, free from deviation, May I meditate on it day and night without separation. That is to say, when that objectless power of compassion appears unceasingly, At the very moment of love, the essence of reality, free from elaboration, the meaning of emptiness, is not just a rough idea, but appears manifestly naked, so the path of union where emptiness and compassion are mixed together is the supreme path free from deviation. Likewise, in the Net of Dakini Vows: Emptiness and compassion are inseparable, Whichever mind realizes it, Therefore, it is taught as Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Also, from the Vajra Peak Sutra: The difference between emptiness and compassion Is like a lamp and its light. Emptiness and compassion are also one, Just like a lamp and its light. So it is said. That meaning is also the perfection of a Bodhisattva and wisdom, as it says in the Man Nying: Here, emptiness and compassion are inseparable, the mind that does not abide is the mind of enlightenment and the perfection of wisdom. So it is said. If wisdom, emptiness, and skillful means, great compassion, are not united, and only one aspect is practiced, then the supreme state cannot be attained, and because it cannot be attained, it cannot become Vajra Yoga. As it says in the Guhyasamaja Tantra: Yoga is not the way of skillful means, Nor is it just wisdom alone. Skillful means and wisdom equally entering, Yoga is what the Tathagata taught. And: Whatever skillful means is arising, Destruction of wisdom makes the end of existence. The Sutra Requested by the Dragon King Sagara says: The work of Mara is twofold: Skillful means without wisdom, And wisdom without skillful means. Knowing them as the work of Mara, one should abandon them. In Atisha's Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment: Wisdom without skillful means, And skillful means without wisdom, Therefore, they are called bonds.

Having spoken thus, therefore, both should not be abandoned. As it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "Wisdom does not abide in existence, and compassion does not abide in peace." Thus, to attain the Nirvana that does not abide in either existence or peace, it is necessary to have the union of skillful means and wisdom, and so on, because it is limitless. Moreover, if one has not realized emptiness and only boasts of benefiting others with compassion alone, not only will one not be able to benefit others, but one's own virtuous deeds will be ruined like dust in the wind, and even temporarily become an obstacle to future benefit for others. If one only meditates on emptiness, one will stray into the path of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, becoming a long-term obstacle to benefiting others. As it is said: "Going to hell is not a permanent obstacle to enlightenment, but Hearers and Solitary Realizers are a permanent obstacle to attaining enlightenment." As it is said, it is certain that it is also a wrong path of the Great Vehicle. Thus, this union path, which is free from wrong paths, should be practiced at all times, day and night, until the great state of the Union Vajradhara is attained, and is taught in the manner of making aspirations. As it is said in the Commentary on the Mind: "The Bodhicitta of the Buddhas, the aggregates and other discriminating consciousnesses, are not obscured by them, and constantly abide in the nature of emptiness, with a mind moistened by compassion, one should diligently practice." As it is said. Then, with the previous verse showing how experience arises, the path of accumulation is shown, with a verse showing how realization arises, and with the two verses that follow, it should be known that this shows the path of seeing and meditation. If you ask, "Has practice not been shown up to this point?" The answer is that by showing meditation alone, practice is accomplished. In general, the practice of mantra is said to have two aspects: with characteristics and without characteristics. The former is called external practice, and the latter is called internal practice, but internal practice is the most excellent. That is because there is no other way than to practice the yoga of Mahamudra. That is also called the practice of Samantabhadra, and by abiding in it, all needs will be accomplished. As it is said in the Guhyasamaja: "This is the supreme yoga, therefore that"
