That's pretty much it. There are also two types of cause and effect: the cause and effect of samsara and the cause and effect of liberation. First, the root of suffering in samsara lies in the accumulation of negative karma. This in turn lies in afflictions. And this in turn lies in the ignorance of clinging to self. Ignorance is also the root of all afflictions, and delusion is: We ourselves do not know where samsara comes from? What is the nature of samsara? What are the benefits and harms of karma and its consequences, etc., it is a complete darkness. Even if one listens to the lama's explanation or understands through hearing and thinking, it is like placing one's mind in a place one has never been to, this vague thought that there is nothing called this. It clings to what is not me as me. Relying on it, doubts arise about the true meaning and various inverted views. Relying on one's own body, possessions, etc., greed arises. Relying on it, pride, jealousy, and stinginess arise. Relying on others, hatred arises. Relying on it, anger, resentment, etc. arise. If these three poisons of affliction are not present, karma cannot be accumulated. If there is no karma, there will be no result. Therefore, one must try one's best to abandon the root of wandering in samsara. If one summarizes the karma of samsara, it belongs to non-meritorious karma, that is, the ten non-virtuous actions. Therefore, one will be reborn in the three lower realms. Meritorious karma, such as generosity and other virtuous deeds not accompanied by the thought of nirvana, will lead to rebirth in the heavenly realms and the human realm. Immovable karma, with attachment and meditation, will lead to rebirth in the form realm and the formless realm. In short, as long as the imprints of thoughts are not exhausted, the accumulation of karma will not cease. Relying on its power, the illusion of samsara will not be exhausted. Therefore, some foolish and hypocritical emptiness practitioners say that there is no need to value the results of karma and that they have realized the nature of mind. This is the greatest thief of Buddhism! The ten non-virtuous actions are: knowingly killing, regardless of the size of the life, even killing ants, etc. Not giving, secretly stealing other people's property. For those who have vows and owners, etc., it is not permissible to violate them from the perspective of the object. For pregnant women, patients, etc., it is not permissible to violate them from the perspective of time. For the lama's residence, temples, and stupa rooms, etc., it is not permissible to violate them from the perspective of location. For the mouth and anus, etc., it is not permissible to violate them from the perspective of the path.

Regarding those four root downfalls, plus the three unwholesome actions of the body, including engaging in impure conduct. Lying, which is knowingly speaking untruths. Divisive speech, which is speaking words that become the basis of discord. Harsh speech, which is speaking about the faults of others, such as thieves and cripples, and hurting their feelings. And idle talk, such as talk about war, business, and women, and singing, dancing, and playing games, these are the four unwholesome actions of speech. Covetousness, thinking, "If only I had the wealth, women, fame, etc. of others." Ill will, being displeased with the happiness and prosperity of others. Wrong view, not believing in past and future lives, the law of karma, the qualities of the Three Jewels, etc., these are the three unwholesome actions of mind, totaling ten unwholesome actions, and the ripening of actions belonging to these categories will cause rebirth in the three lower realms. Even if reborn as a human, one will have a short life due to killing, become poor due to stealing, etc., causing many sufferings, so in all ways, do not do them yourself. Stop others from doing them. Regret what has been done. Reversing those unwholesome actions, not killing and rescuing lives. Not taking what is not given from others and giving away one's own food and wealth. Guarding morality without hypocrisy. Speaking truthfully. Reconciling those who have been divided by divisive speech. Speaking gently. Rejoicing in the wealth of others. Only benefiting others. Not disparaging the qualities of any religion or anyone, and believing in the words of the Victorious Ones, these ten are wholesome actions, and one should strive to accomplish them as much as possible. Also, let others do them. Meditating on rejoicing in what has been done, the result is rebirth in the heavens, with long life and great wealth, etc., possessing many benefits. Walking, standing, sleeping, sitting, etc., these are unspecified actions that are neither wholesome nor unwholesome, although one will not experience good or bad results, life is spent meaninglessly, so do not be controlled by distraction and laziness, but spend time with mindfulness and awareness, only doing wholesome actions. Be cautious of even small misdeeds, do not be reckless, remember the example of how even a small poison can kill. Do not despise even small wholesome actions, strive to accomplish them, remember the example of how accumulating grains of rice will eventually fill a container. Furthermore, in future lives, accumulating vast collections [of merit and wisdom] is the basis for obtaining the eight qualities of the heavens.
