Protector! Homage to the feet of the one whose sight is meaningful. He subdued the deceitful teachers and the roots of black deeds. He built vast stupas of the Three Jewels. In this realm of knowledge, with unobstructed wisdom, he fearlessly explains the meaning of the scriptures. In practicing that dharma, there is no opportunity for distraction. Without mistaking the reality of phenomena and the nature of things, seeing them as they are, increasing the light of wisdom, bestowing the glory of joy in the minds of beings. O! Solely the one who holds the Black Hat, the essence of the Yidam, the glorious great bliss, may Chakrasamvara hold you. From this birth onwards, may I not be confused about the lineage lord, and while holding the mandala of the Bhagavan Wrathful One, may I drink the nectar of the wisdom lotus, and may I purify all existences in the essence of Bodhi. This was created by the immovable feet, and later supplemented at each stage. From then on, praying to the successive holders of the Red Hat: The Vajra Dharmakaya that pervades the sky, the Sambhogakaya, the Lord of Dance, Vajradhara, the emanation body of the Victorious One, Kunga Yenlak, I pray to manifest the three bodies. Tailopa held Jetsun Kholpo Gak, Naropa held the Brahmin Kuntikchok, Milarepa held the youth Gzhonnu Gsangtshol Zhap, I pray to the three Siddha masters. Dala Ozer held Tshultrim Pal, the Knower of the Three Times held Namkhai O, Karma Pakshi held Tashi Drak, I pray to the three Yoga masters. Chöying Dorje held Gargyi Wang, Yongzin Dampa, the Black Hat, who greatly empowered the Victorious One's activities, Chökyi Döndrup Zhap... Jetsun, the Vajra who subdues the hordes of demons, held the glorious one with wisdom, love, and power, the supreme lord of all the mandalas of the all-pervading lord, I pray to Mipham Chödrub Gyatso. Thus, for the sake of spreading the sixth Lion Karma's practice lineage to the boundless reaches of the sky, to the incarnate who has an unbroken stream of activities, I pray, please bless me. The one who has long seen all the Dharmas with his vast eyes, the one with compassion who illuminates the teachings of the Thubten, the sole ornament of the scholars and accomplished ones of the snowy land, I pray to Könchok Yenlak Zhap.
