In all lifetimes, may I rely on the Guru's feet, making offerings through attainment and reverence. Never separating from the awareness of the Teacher, may I not be stained by thoughts of faults! However the Guru's actions may appear, may I always make offerings with wondrous faith. Without thinking of others' faults in all actions, may I always attain the awareness of benefit! May I, like you, attain manifest enlightenment, and for the sake of sentient beings equal to space who are to be tamed, bestow the feast of Dharma of dharanis and fearlessness. May I proclaim the melodious sound of the supreme vehicle's Dharma! I dedicate whatever slight virtue I have accumulated through prostrating, offering, confessing, rejoicing, urging, and requesting, without dwelling on extremes such as existence or non-existence, to the great, unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment, the essence of the four Kayas and five wisdoms. So be it. Foretold by the Tathagata, performing the benefit of beings in the degenerate age, I pay homage to the Youthful Moonlight who has mastered the Great Seal. In the Black Forest of glorious Phagmo Dru, ripening many fortunate beings to be tamed, displaying inconceivable varieties of miracles, I pray to the Protector Gonpo Rinpoche. In the palace of Akanishta, the sphere of Dharma, the essence of all Buddhas of the three times, I pray to the feet of the glorious Guru who directly reveals the Dharmakaya of my own mind. In happiness, may well-being be dedicated as a collection. May benefit and happiness fill the sky. In suffering, may I take on the suffering of all. May the ocean of suffering dry up. May loving-kindness and compassion be impartial, and may the wisdom of ultimate co-emergence, as realized by the Buddhas and their heirs, bless me and others to realize it directly. Then, in the sequence of paying homage and praying to the successive incarnations of the Victorious Avalokiteshvara, the glorious Karmapas, first is the praise of the Omniscient One, composed by the Seventh Karmapa: You who know all knowable things of the three times without exception, free from obscurations, and who, knowing them directly, show the path without error, possess incomparable great compassion for the three times, I pay homage to the incomparable Teacher, the protector of beings. In whatever field and time where the Tathagata tames the difficult to tame, Manifesting as a Bodhisattva, a Pratyekabuddha, As a Shravaka, as gods and sages, etc., Benefiting beings in various ways, I pay homage. Giving wealth to the poor, food and drink to the hungry, Being a friend to the friendless, medicine to the sick, Manifesting in various forms such as doctors, Becoming the basis for the sustenance of beings, I pay homage. Whoever sees you, hears your name, And remembers or speaks of your qualities, Will also gradually progress to the ultimate state of perfect enlightenment, I pay homage to the source of all qualities. In this snowy land, there are also masters of wisdom and accomplishment, And those adorned with vast learning and discipline, Praised as a wondrous sacred place, I pay homage to the one who is the crown jewel of all. In all directions and times, the Buddhas And all the activities of all Bodhisattvas without exception, The lord of all beings, I pay homage to the one who is the basis of inseparable benefit and happiness. Offering with boundless clouds of offerings, Confessing all sins of body, speech, and mind without exception, I rejoice in all virtues, Constantly urging to turn the wheel of Dharma, Praying not to pass into Nirvana, to remain long in this world. May all the virtues I have accumulated in the three times, Be dedicated entirely to perfect enlightenment, Without obstacles, may I quickly attain Buddhahood. In this life and in all lifetimes, May the one who carries out the activities of all Buddhas of the three times, Karmapa, always hold me dear, May I practice the supreme and delightful conduct of Bodhi. May the stainless teachings of the supreme conquerors, Show the means to accomplish boundless qualities, May the Karmapa's intention be fulfilled, Making the explanation and practice purely increase. Praise to the biography of the one who knows the times: Emaho! The one who accomplishes all wishes, The lord of the sky without beginning or end, The one whose light of clear compassion shines, I pray to Tsurphupa. The one who grants the state of perfect enlightenment, I bow to the supreme Jetsun, In the great sacred place of manifestation, Treho, Conceived in the womb of the wisdom Dakini, When the ten Bhumis are completed and the body is born, As the supreme manifestation, beings and All sentient beings pray for accomplishment.
