Grant the innate wisdom! In the Dharmadhatu, the primordial protector, the all-pervading lord, Who dances the four indivisible vajra dances, To the omniscient lama, Jampal Dorje, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! The Vajradhara embraced by the beautiful emptiness, Bound on the path of immutable bliss, free from outflows, To that sun of the yogic teachings, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! Having directly seen the nature of the indestructible essence, Controlling the supreme, unchanging wisdom, To the fearless vajra who tames the hordes of demons, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! According to the various dispositions, powers, and inclinations of those to be tamed, You show the play of compassion in countless ways, To the glorious Mipham Chödrub Gyatso, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! Samsara and nirvana are equal, great bliss is uncompounded, Perfectly showing the face of the ultimate Dharmakaya, To the all-pervading lord of all families, Pema Nyinje, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! The wisdom of accomplishment is clear like the sky, The light of immeasurable compassion pervades all, To the sun of beings, the supreme vehicle vajra, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! The all-pervading teacher, the Vajradhara of the five kayas, The meaning of inseparable bliss and emptiness, the great seal, To the manifest ocean of Buddha qualities, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! The all-pervading, primordial, self-liberated Vajradhara, The embodiment of all the buddhas of the three times, Karmapa, To the vajra of immeasurable compassion pervading the sky, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! The play of loving kindness in the expanse of the heart, all-pervading space, The regent of the lotus, the protector of the teachings and beings, To the profound and clear, unequaled Pema Wangchuk, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! The expanse of awareness and emptiness, the unpolluted Dharmadhatu, The emanation of Vairochana, the protector of the practice lineage, To the unequaled Jamgön Khyentse Özer, I pray, grant the innate wisdom! O compassionate one! To the root guru, the embodiment of all Buddhas, I pray, grant me innate wisdom! Grant me the two siddhis. To the assembly of yidam deities, To the assembly of Dharma protectors, the masters of all activities, And to the assembly of oath-bound ones who carry out the commands, I pray, grant me innate wisdom! Through the blessings of this prayer, May I realize the great seal of the ground of reality, Which is the basis of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, Free from all concepts such as acceptance and rejection, existence and non-existence. May the great seal of the path be realized, Where there is no object, subject, or act of realization, Where there is no obscuration, obscurer, or removal of obscuration, And which is utterly beyond the path of going and doer. May the great seal of the result be realized, Where there is no object, subject, or attainment, Where there is no separation between abandonment and attainment, ground and result, And which is the nature of all phenomena, free from substantiality. This is the prayer to the lineage of the Great Seal of Coemergent Union, composed by Karmapa Chödrag Gyamtso.
