Until enlightenment I take refuge, Through the merit of my giving and so on, May I attain Buddhahood for the benefit of beings. Thus, generate the mind of enlightenment clearly three times. May all sentient beings have happiness and the causes of happiness. May they be free from suffering and the causes of suffering. May they never be separated from the sacred happiness that is without suffering. May they abide in the great equanimity that is free from both near and far, attachment and hatred. Thus, meditate on the four immeasurables three times. Then, regarding the part about generating the support for the gathering and accumulating the accumulations, as stated in the "Twenty Branches of the Aspiration Prayer Ritual" written by the Seventh (Kelsang Gyatso, 1708-1767), slightly abbreviated. The practice nowadays is initially: By the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, the power of blessings, the power of the complete perfection of the two accumulations, the qualities of the nature of the Dharma realm, and the practice of the pure lands of the Bodhisattvas, etc., the power of the complete purification of the Buddha lands, and the power of our faith, may this place be endowed with all the ornaments, arrangements, and qualities of all the Buddha lands. Thus, three times, and if there is time, recite what is said in the Explanation of the Profound Meaning Sutra: In its center is a vast immeasurable palace, adorned with seven jewels, extremely radiant, vast rays of light filling immeasurable worlds, various different places, extremely vast and abiding, without limit, the realm of practice that transcends the three realms, that which transcends the world, arising from the root of virtue of its guru, the nature of consciousness that is extremely pure and possesses mastery, the abode of the Tathagata, endowed with the Sangha of Bodhisattvas, the place where gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and non-humans endlessly roam, abiding in the joy and great bliss of the taste of Dharma, abiding by causing all sentient beings to perfectly obtain all benefits, free from all defilements of the harm of afflictions, completely abandoning all demons, surpassing all arrangements.
