The place of the Tathagata's array, which definitely arises from mindfulness, wisdom, and great realization, is the vehicle of tranquility and insight, entering from the gate of liberation, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, becoming a vast palace relying on the array adorned with the infinite qualities of the precious lotus king. In its center, on the thrones of various jewels of gods, nagas, humans, etc., are laid priceless garments of gods and humans, upon which are arranged various pure and stainless lotus seats, each appearing clearly. This is the branch of visualizing the palace together with the cushions clearly. Next is the branch of visualizing offerings: on those thrones, rains of umbrellas, banners, pennants, and five-colored ribbons made of various jewels and garments of gods and humans, and divine flowers, mandalas, etc.; the banners, umbrellas, pennants, and ribbons, etc., are all beautifully painted; the walls are also adorned with nets and half-nets, pennants, and ribbons, etc., of jewels, silks, and flowers, etc.; the ground is scattered with flowers of gods and humans, and offerings of water, flowers, incense, lamps, perfumes, food, music, etc., are presented, like the offerings described in the Sutra of the Three Heaps and the Prayer of the Practice of Goodness, a cloud-ocean of offerings, excellent and diverse, inconceivable, filling and expanding to the boundless expanse of the sky, possessing inexhaustibility. Next is the branch of invocation: I invite all the Buddhas of the ten directions, such as the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Shakyamuni, and the Bodhisattvas, the Shravaka Sangha, etc., for the sake of purifying the defilements of sins and increasing the accumulation of merit of all sentient beings including myself. Urged by great compassion, I pray that you will remember this day and this time. As it says in the Extensive Play Sutra: O you who accomplish all meanings, please come here! O god of gods! O tamer! O maker of joy, happiness, and supreme joy! O you who possess the fame of the unsurpassed physician!
