Listening to the truthful words of the virtuous supplicant, I offer prayers at the feet of the Three Jewels. When inviting to the Isle of Precious Merit, I beseech you to come with offerings for the sake of beings. ༈ Incomparable, never tiring of seeing, A beautiful form with a golden hue. Potalaka, the venerable Sthavira Nagasena, surrounded by one thousand two hundred Arhats, holding a vase and a staff. On the summit of Mt. Bheda, the venerable Sthavira Krishnadasa, surrounded by one thousand four hundred Arhats, holding scriptures in both hands. On the summit of Mt. Gandhara, the venerable Sthavira Ajita, surrounded by a thousand Arhats, holding a great stupa. The noble Upasaka Dharmata, with matted hair tied on his head, carrying scriptures on his shoulder, stands before Amitabha, holding a whisk and a vase, I prostrate. May the Dharma flourish! With diligence as armor, possessing great power, those who well protect the Buddha's teachings, I prostrate to the four great kings of the east, south, west, and north. May the Dharma flourish! The assembly of Arhats, emanations of the Buddha, who protect the Dharma for the benefit of beings, with the Three Jewels as reality, the Sixteen Elders, may the Dharma abide long. The Sixteen Elders, lords of compassion, the retinue that has crossed the ocean of existence, free from afflictions, may the assembly of sixteen thousand four hundred retinues, may the Dharma abide long. Perfecting the ocean of merit, purifying the ocean of wisdom, perfecting all the oceans of qualities, may we surpass all beings in the world. By the compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times, holding the Vinaya of the Shravakas, as long as samsara exists, protecting the Dharma and benefiting beings, may the great Sthaviras be auspicious! For those who are attached to wrong views and have entered the wrong path, Refuting the evil tenets of demons, Ishvara, and heretics with reason, Leading them onto the path of liberation. You are the supreme guide for those who desire liberation... Generosity, ethics, patience, diligence, Meditation, wisdom, the six perfections, Again and again in many lifetimes
