礼敬妙吉祥！ 于知识之虚空，深邃而广阔， 以智慧之坛城，盛开之光芒， 遣除众生无明之黑暗， 敬礼具力文殊菩萨。 自即日起直至菩提心要， 除您之外我无其他救护， 业力所致无论生于六道何处， 祈请文殊救脱轮回之怖畏。 我于舍弃此生之行时， 将与慈爱之亲友眷属分离， 于阎罗狱卒擒获之时，恐怖战栗， 祈请文殊救脱阎罗之怖畏。 无始以来所积恶业力， 于中有之际，烦恼之风力， 或将我等抛向难忍之恶趣深渊， 祈请文殊断除烦恼之风。 于中有之识神结生之时， 愿能远离八无暇之处， 于高举如来圣教之族姓中， 祈请文殊促成转生之缘起。 来世获得天界功德之殊胜， 以七德庄严之暇满人身， 与如法奉持教法之善知识， 祈请文殊促成会面之缘起。 具足方便与慈悲之善知识， 所善说之经论如海之浩瀚， 如理通达且能为他宣说， 祈请文殊赐予辨别之智慧。 生生世世 唯为利他之故， 毫无悭吝布施一切所有， 远离散乱禅定等修持， 祈请文殊赐予六度波罗蜜。 欲观清凉轮回热恼之圣品， 经论雪山之崖壁， 然已沉溺于散乱懈怠之泥沼， 祈请文殊迅速以慈悲救护。 欲入甚深见道之正道， 欲往解脱涅槃之洲渚， 然我劣慧为轮回之索束缚， 祈请文殊斩断轮回之系缚。 舍弃自利寂静之俱物达园林， 欲观伟大胜者之莲苑， 然我之慧为无明之浓雾遮蔽， 祈请文殊遣除无明之浓雾。

Namo Manjushriye! In the profound and vast expanse of knowledge, With the radiant light of the mandala of wisdom, Dispelling all the darkness of ignorance of beings, I prostrate to the powerful Manjushri. From this day forth until the essence of enlightenment, I have no other refuge but you, Wherever I may be born in the six realms due to karma, O Manjushri, protect me from the fears of samsara. When I relinquish the activities of this life, I will be separated from all loving friends and relatives, When seized by the fierce and terrifying Yama, O Manjushri, protect me from the fears of Yama. Due to the power of negative karma accumulated since beginningless time, In the bardo, by the force of the winds of affliction, I may be carried to the unbearable abyss of the lower realms, O Manjushri, cut off the gate of the winds of affliction. At the time when the consciousness of the bardo takes rebirth, May I be completely free from the eight states of no leisure, And in the lineages that uphold the banner of the Buddha's teachings, O Manjushri, arrange the auspicious connection for birth. In future lives, may I obtain the supreme qualities of the higher realms, Having obtained a leisure and endowed human body adorned with the seven qualities, And with a spiritual friend who properly upholds the teachings, O Manjushri, arrange the auspicious connection for meeting. That spiritual friend who possesses skillful means and compassion, The vast ocean of scriptures that he has spoken well, Having understood them properly and being able to teach them to others, O Manjushri, grant me the wisdom of discernment. In all lifetimes, Solely for the sake of others, Giving away all possessions without miserliness, And practicing meditation free from distraction, etc., O Manjushri, grant me the six perfections. Though I wish to gaze upon the cool relief that soothes the heat of samsara, The face of the snowy mountains of the scriptures, I am sinking into the swamp of distraction and laziness, O Manjushri, quickly protect me with your compassion. Though I wish to enter the profound path of the view, And go to the island of liberation and nirvana, I, with my inferior fortune, am bound by the noose of samsara, O Manjushri, cut the ties of attachment to samsara. Having abandoned the garden of Kundas, the peace of self-interest, Though I wish to behold the lotus garden of the great victors, My mind is obscured by the thick fog of ignorance, O Manjushri, dispel the thick fog of ignorance.

In short, may I and all beings in all lifetimes, Become the support for the ocean of scriptures, The source from which all desires of beings arise without exception, May we become wish-fulfilling jewels, Gentle Voice! Through the power of praying to you, Gentle Voice, With the great ship of the two accumulations completely purified, To liberate beings from the ocean of existence, May I also become like you, Gentle Voice! From this time onwards, Until I attain enlightenment, May the venerable Gentle Voice, Be my guru. Whenever I wish to behold, Or wish to ask a little, May you, the protector Gentle Voice, Be seen without any obstacles! For the sake of accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings, Who pervade the ten directions to the ends of space, Just as Gentle Voice acts, May the actions of myself and others be the same!
