Regarding offerings, initially during the preliminaries, two mandalas, and one permanent. A set of vases, a set of medicine and alcohol, lamp stands, etc. Two sets of seven offerings. Mirror. Skull cup. Pig-faced mandala. Several large and small offering bowls. Tripod. Pig-faced seal. Food plate and draining basin. Protection cord vajra. Conch dharma instrument. Torma utensils guzi. Cymbals. Seven treasures. Thundam and, Chöd drum. Human leg bone. Vajra bell. Rosary, if properly made, then a mesh rosary is needed. It is said that to symbolize the three channels—the root, central, and left and right channels—the main thread should be three strands side by side, sixteen meshes to symbolize the sixteen joys, and the color red to symbolize the fire of tummo. To symbolize the secret consort Vajrayogini, it is said that it should be worn inseparable from one's body, unseen by ordinary people, and is a tool of commitment. Regarding the length, according to the tradition of accomplished ones such as Milarepa, it is enough to circle the head twice, with a single strand of six fingers. When Gampopa was practicing the path at the feet of Jetsun Mila, he saw the vision of the hell of black lines and became unwell. Jetsun said that it was because the rosary was too short, causing the channels to be blocked, so he had the rosary lengthened, and afterwards, he followed the practice of lengthening it.

It is said that the scholar-adept Tsongkhapa said that a round tent must have seven single pillars to meet the standard. However, in current practice, the single pillars of the round tent have become eight, and the width is said to be only four or three fingers. The size of the tent, etc., should be determined according to the size of the body. Third, from then on, when approaching the start of practice, a good date should be chosen to occupy a decorated retreat house or room. All necessary cleaning, sweeping, and repairs should be completed in advance so that no construction work is required after the practice has begun. During this time, in order to eliminate various obstacles, in the four-pillared and eight-beamed temple, the group of practitioners should hold two sessions of the Hundred Offering Torma in the morning, and recite scriptures such as the Eight Auspicious Sutras, the Four Root Sutras, and the Five Minor Sections of the Hundred Thousand Sutras in the afternoon. In addition, as many tsatsas (Sanskrit: sāñcā, Devanagari: सां चा, Romanization: sāñcā, literal meaning: tsatsa) and relics as possible should be made. As many circumambulations of the temple and offerings of butter lamps, etc., as possible should be made. If financial conditions permit, refreshments can be offered to the Sangha or a feast can be offered to the fourfold Sangha. All of this is to pray for the successful completion of the practice and the integration of the mind with the Dharma. If possible, roads should be repaired, lives should be ransomed, and donations should be given to the poor, etc., and all efforts should be made to increase good deeds. Because these have the essence of goodness and great interdependence in the short and long term, the practice master should arrange these matters from the beginning. Then, in order to pacify the obstacles of practice, one should visit the great protector or any of his father and sons, and receive the peaceful bindu of the wrathful torma empowerment of the New Treasure Secret Essence Vajrakilaya, which is related to seeing the crown of liberation. If the protector father and sons are not available, the practice master should briefly give general and specific teachings and instructions in an easy-to-understand manner on the lineage of previous empowerments, the initial motivation, and the form of bodhicitta, etc. On the day before starting the practice, the practice master should lead all the practitioners and attendants, carrying a clean white scarf, to visit the supreme, truly meaningful Chakravartin, the Seventh Gyalwang Rinpoche, and take this opportunity to make offerings and prayers to the temples and protector halls, etc.
