It is about the path of cultivation. Second, because the mind must be generated by relying on a basis free from obstacles, and generated by relying on causes and conditions such as lineage, first the collection of causes is taught, and then the wisdom of the path is taught. This is the nature of realizing the three knowable paths, so the three vehicles of the object of focus are shown. These are also shown in order, in accordance with the order in which the three vehicles are shown. The path of the Bodhisattva, the object of focus, is taught in the order of generation, like the order of seeing and cultivating. The path of cultivation is also done from the perspective of need, successively as the agent and the object. Among them, according to the order of inferior and superior, first is with defilements, and then the path of cultivation without defilements is shown. The two without defilements are taught according to the order of birth. Third, the way of teaching is from the perspective of cause and effect, nature, and so on. Fourth, these eleven dharmas are taught in this way from enlightenment and so on. If relying on an unawakened lineage, then the direct realization of those skilled in the aspects of the three paths of the Bodhisattva, the previous wisdom of the path itself, is how these eleven dharmas are taught. Third, there are also four points in the basic wisdom: The first is the basic wisdom of the place of entry, entry is application, and the result of entry is the path of seeing. The first point is the nature of the two basic wisdoms, the rationality of near and far, and the difference between dissimilar qualities and antidotal qualities. First, the directly shown basic wisdom of the Bodhisattva is: not abiding in existence, that is, samsara, because wisdom knows the equality of the three times. Not abiding on the edge of peaceful nirvana, because compassion performs the benefit of others. Conversely, the basic wisdom of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers is: abiding on either side of existence and peace, this is how it is shown. Second, the basic wisdom of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers is far from the fruit mother, because they are not skilled in the means of realizing the two truths. That of the Bodhisattva is not far, because they are skilled in the means of realizing the two truths. Third, that of the Hearers is to be abandoned because it lacks skillful means and wisdom, therefore it is a dissimilar quality. That of the Bodhisattva is to be obtained because it is held by skillful means and wisdom, therefore it is an antidotal quality. Second, entering application has the actual and the classification. The first is the application that prohibits practice in the ten objects. The second is prohibiting self-praise of the object and the subject and their realization, thereby equality.

It should be meditated upon in this way. The third is the path of seeing of a Bodhisattva who has the aspect of being free from the thirty-two kinds of addition and subtraction. Second, the order is: First, it is necessary to know the place to enter, so it is taught first. Here, after realizing the nature of abiding or not abiding in samsara and nirvana, one must enter the non-abiding, so the opponents and unfavorable aspects are taught directly or indirectly. Also, it should be understood by the reason of near and far, so it is taught from near to far from the aspect of reason. In order to ascertain this, the differences between the unfavorable aspects and the antidotes are explained. After knowing the place to enter, one enters the practice of cultivation, and from entering, one obtains the result, so the practice and the result, the path of seeing, are taught in order. Third, the way of teaching is: mostly taught from the aspect of nature. Fourth, the nine dharmas, such as those from there, etc., are considered to be omniscient. The types of realization are the Hearers and the Solitary Realizers. Here, because it is said that the three wisdoms of praise and the types of realization are the same, it is combined with the individual of the basis. These are the tenets of the teachers, and the fundamental intention will be explained below. Second, there are four practices, the first of which is the eleven dharmas that represent all aspects, the first of which is the aspect to be meditated upon, which is the distinction of the wisdom that realizes the reality of the ground. There are three or one hundred and seventy-three of them. Second, the practice of meditating on the aspects is the yoga of the union of skillful means and wisdom, which is the twenty, in order to abandon or control the unfavorable aspects by summarizing and meditating. Together with what is vowed, that is, those who are with it, those meditators, who have become vessels for hearing and so on by accumulating merit, that is, there are four of them. Third, the qualities of the practice are the benefits obtained by the power of meditating on them, that is, there are fourteen of them. Fourth, the faults of it are the works of the demons that hinder the practice of meditation, that is, there are forty-six of them. Fifth, its characteristics and those that are included, that is, those that possess them, are the three preliminary dharmas. If divided, there are four depending on the freedom of action and work. Sixth, the part that is in accordance with liberation is the part of that path of practice that liberates from the karma and afflictions that are extremely coarse and cause one to be born in unfavorable places, that is, one side is in accordance, that is, it benefits and increases. Or, liberation is affliction.
