"The Commentary on the Abhisamayalankara, a Treatise on the Quintessence of the Perfection of Wisdom, entitled 'A Clear Exposition of the Intent'." "The Commentary on the Abhisamayalankara, a Treatise on the Quintessence of the Perfection of Wisdom, entitled 'A Clear Exposition of the Intent'." "The Commentary on the Abhisamayalankara, a Treatise on the Quintessence of the Perfection of Wisdom, entitled 'A Clear Exposition of the Intent'" is hereby presented. Om Svasti Siddham (藏文:ཨོཾ་སྭ་སྟི་སིདྡྷ྄ཾ།,梵文天城体:ओṃ स्वस्ति सिद्धं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ svasti siddhaṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡,吉祥,成就). The Commentary on the Abhisamayalankara, a Treatise on the Quintessence of the Perfection of Wisdom, entitled 'A Clear Exposition of the Intent'. To Gyaltsab Je, the Lord of Dharma, whose wisdom of the ground, path, and fruit is completely pure, I prostrate with reverence through the three doors and take refuge. I beseech you to bestow your blessings. To the Shakya Chief, the Powerful One, who became the god of gods; to Maitreya, the Protector, the Lord of Dharma, who is not defeated by the four maras; from the eldest of the princes, the two brothers, and so forth, up to the supreme spiritual guides, I take refuge. In the vast sky of the three pure knowledges, with the four applications as the mount of the supreme green horse, the three kayas, the sun-making mandala, greatly expanded, with the power of activities endowed with a thousand lights, to you I prostrate. The successor of the Victorious Ones, the Ornament of Maitreya's Intent, the single path traveled by all the Victorious Ones, the supreme Mother of the Victorious Ones, the Abhisamaya, the supreme Ornament, with this Ornament I compose this explanation. Here, our teacher, the Unequaled Shakya Powerful One, in order to liberate all beings from suffering and establish them in supreme liberation, generated the supreme mind of enlightenment. Through skillful means and immeasurable diligence, by the power of familiarizing the two precious minds of enlightenment, he attained the unsurpassed great enlightenment. In accordance with the levels and capacities of the disciples to be tamed, he turned the inconceivable wheel of Dharma. Among these, the most profound is the Perfection of Wisdom. The one that clearly explains the stages of emptiness, which is the actual meaning of that, is the five treatises on Madhyamaka reasoning, and the one that clearly explains the stages of hidden meaning, the Abhisamaya, in conjunction with the emptiness of objects, is the Abhisamayalankara. These two treatises are known as the founders of the chariot path, but others are not. Here, the latter will

Herein lies the meaning of the translator's noble beginning, the meaning of the author's noble treatise, and the meaning of the translator's completed conclusion, these three. The first concerns the meaning of the title, and the two acts of reverence in translation. The first has three aspects: the nature of the title, the reason for its designation, and the necessity for its designation. The first includes the translation of the title and the explanation of the title, two aspects. The first concerns the individual nature of the two titles, and the demonstration that the two are of the same meaning. First, India is the noble land, a term of arbitrary designation. There are four languages there, and in Sanskrit, it is Abhi (梵文天城体:अभि,梵文罗马拟音:abhi,汉语字面意思:present), and so on. Tibet is the land of snows, consisting of Tibet and Greater Tibet. In their languages, it is Wisdom (Tibetan: ཤེས་རབ།), and so on. Second, if the words are different, are the meanings also different? The meaning is the same: Abhisamaya (梵文天城体:अभि समय,梵文罗马拟音:abhi-samaya,汉语字面意思:direct perception) is direct realization. Alaṃkāra (梵文天城体:अलंकार,梵文罗马拟音:alaṃkāra,汉语字面意思:ornament) is adornment. Nāma (梵文天城体:नाम,梵文罗马拟音:nāma,汉语字面意思:name) is called. Prajñā (梵文天城体:प्रज्ञा,梵文罗马拟音:prajñā,汉语字面意思:wisdom) is wisdom. Pāramitā (梵文天城体:पारमिता,梵文罗马拟音:pāramitā,汉语字面意思:gone to the other shore) is gone to the other shore. Upadeśa (梵文天城体:उपदेश,梵文罗马拟音:upadeśa,汉语字面意思:instruction) is instruction. Śāstra (梵文天城体:शास्त्र,梵文罗马拟音:śāstra,汉语字面意思:treatise) is treatise. Second, in the explanation of the title, the Prajñāpāramitā concerns the two subjects of expression, the path and the fruit, and the three objects of expression, the treatises. It directly applies to the latter, and also implicitly applies to the former, because explaining the three Mother texts, the extensive, intermediate, and concise, makes it easy to realize the two, the path and the fruit. Instruction is twofold, quickly mastering the objects of knowledge: showing vast meaning with few words, and clarifying hidden meanings. Treatise: In Śāstra (梵文天城体:शास्त्र,梵文罗马拟音:śāstra,汉语字面意思:treatise), Śās (梵文天城体:शास,梵文罗马拟音:śās,汉语字面意思:discipline) means to discipline, that is, to discipline the minds of those to be tamed from afflictions into the three trainings by the three baskets. Tāra (梵文天城体:तार,梵文罗马拟音:tāra,汉语字面意思:deliverance) means to deliver, or Trai (梵文天城体:त्रै,梵文罗马拟音:trai,汉语字面意思:protection) means to protect, that is, to protect from the results of afflictions, the sufferings of bad migrations and existence. Vasubandhu said: "Disciplining all the enemies of afflictions, Protecting from bad migrations and existence, Disciplining and protecting are virtues, Therefore it is called a treatise, These two are not found in other systems." Definition, example, and classification, the three, are explained elsewhere. Abhisamaya (梵文天城体:अभि समय,梵文罗马拟音:abhi-samaya,汉语字面意思:direct perception): Abhi (梵文天城体:अभि,梵文罗马拟音:abhi,汉语字面意思:present) has two meanings, but here it means directed towards the present. Sama (梵文天城体:सम,梵文罗马拟音:sama,汉语字面意思:equal) has ten meanings, but here it means correctly determined. Aya (梵文天城体:अय,梵文罗马拟音:aya,汉语字面意思:go) means realization. Being directed towards the present, realizing correctly and as it is, is Abhisamaya, that is, knowing or mastering.
