Without the gradual yoga that manifests again and again without confusion in order, the momentary yoga that can manifest all dharmas in a single instant will not arise. Without that, complete enlightenment will not occur in a single instant. Therefore, by teaching the firm, causal, gradual, and momentary yogas, the eight realizations are taught. According to the noble ones, the complete and perfect Buddha is one who has abandoned all obscurations and perfected all qualities. In order to abandon opposing factors, both the all-aspects and peak yogas are necessary. In order to manifest qualities, the gradual and momentary are established. The fundamental intention seems to be only this. The order of the eight is as follows: First, the object of entry must be determined through hearing and thinking, so the three wisdoms are taught. Among them, in order to generate the mind of seeking meaning in the result, first the all-aspects wisdom is taught. If there is no knowledge of the path, it will not arise, so then the path wisdom is taught. If all bases are not completely known, it will not arise, so then the base wisdom is taught. What is determined by hearing and thinking must be practiced through yoga, so then the four yogas are taught. When the practice of the four yogas is completed, Buddhahood is attained, so then the Dharma body is taught. Second, explaining with a slight distinction, it is divided into: object, yoga, and result. The first has three parts, the first being: What is the all-aspects wisdom called "all-aspects wisdom"? Regarding this, there are: the ten natures of dharmas, the certainty of order, the manner in which it is taught, and its connection with the body. The first has: the intention to generate the mind of enlightenment, and the two ways of entering into the practice of yoga. The first is: the nature of the Great Vehicle path, which is the generation of the mind of enlightenment. The second has: the way of entering into the practice of the Great Vehicle alone, and the way of entering into the practice of non-retrogression, and the common dharma of both. The first is: the instructions that ripen and purify it. The second has: its boundary, basis, object, and purpose. The first is: the result of the instructions, which is the branch of the path of seeing that definitively distinguishes from what is to be abandoned by seeing through non-conceptualization, becoming the cause. If divided, there are four types such as heat. The second is: one's own basis, which is the lineage that serves as the basis for practicing the Dharma, its essence being the realm of Dharma.

That is, its own nature. Third, the object of practice based on this is the basis for cutting off superimpositions through it. Fourth, the purpose of practice focused on this is the three great ones, which is different from the previous practice, which only explained the four truths as the object and omniscience as the purpose. Third, the common dharma of both of them is determined as four, such as armor. The practice of armor that cannot be penetrated by the weapons of the opposing side is the activity of diligent thinking that possesses four special qualities. The practice of entering the Mahayana battlefield after equipping armor is the activity of diligent combination. The practice of entering and accumulating the army is the activity of actually producing great Bodhi. The practice of definitely arising from gaining victory over difficult-to-defeat enemies by accumulating the army is the diligence of definitely arising in the place of definite arising. Together with the previous nine, these are the ten dharmas. As the noble one said, "Entering is due to equipping armor, accumulating the army, etc. is due to entering, and definitely arising is due to gaining victory from the unvanquished because of accumulating the army." So it is said. Second, first, explain the generation of the mind, because it is the root of all Mahayana dharmas. After that, explain the instructions, because in order to obtain the object of focus at the time of generating the mind, one must listen to the instructions. After that, explain the limbs of ascertainment, because they arise from practicing the meaning of the instructions. After that, explain the basis of practice, because after obtaining it, the dharmadhatu of the mind only serves as the basis for Mahayana practice, and it is impossible for it to serve as the basis for the practice of other vehicles. After that, explain the object, because it is impossible to transform into the practice of other vehicles, and it must cut off superimpositions on all dharmas. After that, explain the purpose, because the purpose of cutting off superimpositions with only the four truths as the object is not necessarily the three great ones, but the purpose of cutting off superimpositions with all dharmas as the object must be the three great ones. After that, explain the nature of the practice itself.
