Entering, and after realizing oneself as a noble being, explaining both for the sake of leading others into one's own treatises. In the Difficult Explanation, it says: 'This, when explaining the five key points of the method of explaining the Ornament Sutra, considers showing the necessity of the Sutra, and the ancients said that the teaching was shown by "the path of all-knowingness," but the former statement is clearer in words.' Second, explaining the limbs of entering the expressed treatise, necessity and connection. Proceeding from the second necessity, one should not enter this treatise, because what is said does not accord with the truth, like a treatise on crow divination. Regarding what is said, there are three situations: not understanding, misunderstanding, and doubt. Moreover, even if it accords with what is said, there is no need to easily understand it, like a treatise on taking the jewel from the crown of a wheel-turning king, there are three thoughts on necessity. Even if there is necessity, there is no need to directly realize the profound meaning, like a barbarian's treatise on taking a widow as a wife, there are three thoughts on the ultimate necessity. Even if there are these, but these two necessities are not related to the treatise, like killing for the sake of ascending to heaven, there are three thoughts on connection, such as not understanding. To eliminate these, directly show the three, such as what is said, and indirectly show the explanation. 'The path of all-knowingness.' etc., two verses, the first three show what is said, then three show the ultimate necessity, and the last two show the necessity. The Protector Maitreya, in the manner of praising the qualities of the three wisdoms, after prostrating to the Mother, vowed to write the Ornament of the Three Wisdoms, so what is its subject matter? The three wisdoms of the Buddha-ground, summarized by the latter two modes of explanation of the praise, are called all-knowingness, and this is made the fruit to be obtained, and then the path to obtain it, the realization of the three unborn wisdoms of the Bodhisattva continuum, summarized by the first mode of explanation of the praise, which transforms into the eight perceptions through the condition of the individual, is precisely the treatise to be spoken of here. So, is this explained independently without relying on the scriptures? No, whatever the Teacher has said in these three Prajnaparamita Sutras will be explained here.

It means that it is not explained separately from this. So, are all the paths of the three vehicles mentioned in the Prajnaparamita Sutra explained here? Although the Prajnaparamita Sutra speaks of all the paths of the three vehicles, what is explained here is that other vehicles do not experience the order of generating the three wisdoms, but only Bodhisattvas should experience them. If we consider the types of realization, then the types of realization of all three vehicles are actually shown, because only Bodhisattvas should experience them, and they have all the types of realization of the three vehicles. The path of the Hinayana Pratyekabuddhas is not directly shown in this text, because "it is not experienced by others," and because it is said that the paths of the Hinayana are indirectly shown when explaining each aspect of the Mahayana path below. Second, the need is: stemming from the phrase "What does the teacher say from this?" If it is thought that the teacher has already said it, then there is no need to compose a treatise. The answer to this is the last two verses. If a treatise is not composed, then ordinary people will not be able to easily understand the meaning of the sutras. Therefore, the ability to easily understand that meaning is the need for composing a treatise. Third, the ultimate need is: So, what is the need for ordinary people to easily understand the meaning of the sutras? The answer to this is that ordinary people rely on easily understanding the meaning of the sutras, and thus, with the wisdom of mindfulness, they truly establish the understanding of the meaning of the sutras, which are the nature of the ten perfections such as giving, and in the stages of accumulation and preparation, the ten practices of Dharma manifest in the first bhumi by the power of meditation for countless kalpas, which is the ultimate need of the treatise. In short, these two verses on need and connection show the order of engaging in the three: the need and the ultimate need, which are explained through the expressed Abhisamayalankara. In the stage of ordinary people, through hearing and thinking about the Abhisamayalankara, even though the essence of the meaning of the Prajnaparamita Sutra is the ten practices of Dharma, those contents shown in the manner of the eight topics and seventy meanings will be understood in the manner of general meaning, and in the stages of accumulation and preparation, practicing those meanings will lead to the first bhumi.
