The nature of the ten, and the birth place of overpowering, is completely distinguished by shape and color, with eight forms, and the samadhi without affliction to be explained below, and the samadhi known from aspiration, and the six superknowledges such as magical powers. The second is, with the distinction of what is to be said and what can be said, the four individual correct knowledges, which are explained as common qualities, is the school of the realists. According to this, in the Ornament of Sutras, superknowledge is mentioned first, and here it is mentioned later. The four completely pure forms of support, object, mind, and wisdom are: successively, abandoning the body, taking the body, transforming the body, changing, samadhi is mastering countless doors of dharani, immeasurable. The ten powers are: life and merit, resources, etc., birth and intention, aspiration, and magical power, wisdom, dharma power. What is said is successively, blessing the activity of life, obtaining the ability to stay for a kalpa or more than that, and being able to enter samadhi as desired, and being able to rain down wealth, and being able to transform the immature karma of the upper realm into what is desired to mature, etc., and being able to take birth as desired without losing meditation, and transforming earth, water, etc. into what is desired, and accomplishing countless aspirations to accomplish the benefit of others perfectly, and showing countless magical powers to tame the trainable, and the four individual correct knowledges reaching the ultimate of excellence, and mastering the teaching of the Dharma according to the intention of the trainable through the door of the twelve divisions of scripture. The first of the ten powers, the power of knowing what is and is not, is the wisdom that realizes the distinctions of cause and effect without exception. The power of knowing the maturation of karma is knowing the maturation of contaminated karma without exception. The power of knowing various intentions is knowing the intentions and behaviors of sentient beings without exception, and so on. The power of knowing the world realm is knowing its formation, duration, destruction, emptiness, and types without exception, and so on. The power of knowing the superior and inferior faculties is knowing the distinctions of sharpness and dullness without exception. The power of knowing all paths to reach is knowing the path to the three bodhi without exception.

Etc. Omniscient knowledge is all the various distinctions of meditative absorption, etc. Knowing past lives is all the circumstances of previous lives, etc. Knowing death and birth is all the ways of death and birth of all sentient beings, etc. Knowing the exhaustion of defilements is its nature and methods, etc. Among these, the first two indicate the path of higher realms, eliminating wrong conceptions about cause and effect, and indicating the path of good rebirths. The latter ones indicate the path of definite goodness, in order to indicate the path of liberation in accordance with the dispositions of those to be tamed, etc. Fearlessness is twofold: realization and abandonment in terms of self-benefit. And twofold: what is to be abandoned and the vowed path in terms of benefiting others, these are the four. The Tathagata does not have the thought of concealing the actions of body, speech, and mind caused by perversion, fearing that others will know them, these are the three without protection. When teaching the Dharma, towards those who respectfully want to listen, those who do not want to listen, and those who are half respectful and half disrespectful, respectively, he dwells in mindfulness with equanimity, being free from attachment, anger, and both, these are called the three close placements of mindfulness. The nature of not forgetting is the characteristic of not passing even a moment from the time of working for the benefit of sentient beings. Completely destroying habitual patterns means abandoning the two obscurations together with their habitual patterns. Great compassion for beings is looking at all of them with the thought of benefiting them six times day and night. Subduing the four maras, the unique and unshared qualities of the Buddha alone: confusion about the Dharmakaya in terms of body, garrulousness in terms of speech, loss of mindfulness in terms of mind, not abiding equally in mind, holding samsara and nirvana as different and having the thought of acceptance and rejection, abandoning those to be tamed without discriminating observation, not having such equanimity, these are the six unshared conducts. The desire to teach the Dharma, the diligence to accomplish the activities of sentient beings, the unforgetting mindfulness, the samadhi of one-pointedness on the nature of reality, the wisdom of realizing the nature of reality, and not declining from liberation from all that is to be abandoned, these are the six unshared realizations. The three unshared activities are the activities of body, speech, and mind, all of which are preceded by the wisdom of the intention of the cause.
