It is the conceptualization of the cognitive obscuration that abides in the lineage. The first is: Regarding the generation of utmost purity, etc., "to take as conceptualization" is a direct teaching and has the same meaning. The second is: Regarding the meaning of emptiness and the paramitas, "to take as conceptualization" is directly taught and has the same meaning. The third is: Those conceptualizations are separate, each one has the nature of nine times nine, because there are nine times nine objects. The fourth is: Know that they are the nature of grasping the state of affairs of objects as they are not. Second, the concise explanation of grasping conceptualization has the object of conceptualization, nature, classification, and the cause of establishing conceptualization. The first is: The basis of conceptualization has the distinction of two, ordinary beings and noble ones, that is, sentient beings that exist substantially and those that exist imputedly. The second is: Focusing on the two objects, the two conceptualizations of the manner of grasping, which successively cling to the grasper as real and cling to it as merely imputed, are considered to be the two conceptualizations of grasping. The third is: Those conceptualizations are separate, each one has the nature of nine times nine, because there are nine times nine objects. The fourth is: Those conceptualizations are characterized by being empty of the nature of grasping the state of affairs of objects, because those conceptualizations are considered to be the grasper of any state of affairs of objects, but it is not so, because it has been shown that way. It is established, because if the meaning grasped by conceptualization does not exist as it is grasped. Second, the extensive explanation has the extensive explanation of grasping conceptualization, and the extensive explanation of clinging conceptualization. First, entering into grasping conceptualization, and returning from grasping conceptualization. First, there are the object, nature, and classification of conceptualization. First, the nine are condensed into two, that is, the path of the Bodhisattva and its fruit. First, there are the nature of the path, its cause, its condition, its object, and its function. The first is: The nature of the path itself is the generation of bodhicitta or the six perfections. The second is: Since enlightenment does not change, the lineage of becoming a Buddha is certain, as in the example of space. The third is: Realizing the absence of truth, the path of seeing and meditation is the skillful means for truly accomplishing it, as in the example of illusion. The fourth is: Since the object is exhausted as merely appearing images, the Bodhisattva's wisdom does not confuse the object of the path.

Unstable and not inverted, like the example of an image. Fifth, seeing faults and virtues, thereby abandoning inconsistent aspects and taking the antidote of non-thought, like the example of a fully enlightened Buddha. Second, the fruit of the path has four, of which the two for oneself are: being free from the defilements of the three wisdoms, oneself obtaining the distinctions of the three wisdoms, and because the cause is weak and the fruit is not abundant, therefore the Hearers and Solitary Realizers prolong their attention, successively shown by the examples of a fully enlightened Buddha and a Buddha. The two for others are: by emanating in accordance with the thoughts of those to be tamed, the activity of that path is to do the work of sentient beings, like the example of a Buddha's emanation. Being skilled in the method of accomplishing on that ground, therefore causing the fruit of actions to be established in the three nirvanas, like the example of a wheel. Second, on those nine kinds of objects, the obscuration of knowledge, which is the manner of grasping that clings to the appearance of what is to be entered as the object of grasping, is the nature of the conceptual thought of what is grasped, which has the support of the direction of entry. Third, entering the grasped conceptual thought, that is asserted to be nine aspects by the difference of objects. Second, the detailed explanation of the reversed grasped conceptual thought: the object of conceptual thought, the nature, the difference, and establishing it as conceptual thought. First, the nature of the path is inferior, the fruit of the path is inferior. First, the conceptual thoughts are: the inferior conceptual thought, the complete holding, the path, the faculty, and the means. The path of Hearers and Solitary Realizers is inferior conceptual thought because it is devoid of both means and wisdom, therefore falling into either existence, samsara, or peaceful nirvana, because it relies on Bodhisattvas, like the example of the sun and moon performing the activities of the four continents and following them. Second, because of being separated from the virtuous friend of the Great Vehicle, there is no internal or external holding, and being obstructed by obstacles is like the example of having no household. Third, because it is not the antidote to the obscuration of knowledge, it does not possess the aspects of the path to Buddhahood, like the example of a man holding a weapon. Fourth, obtaining enlightenment relies on the instructions of the Thus-Gone Ones, etc., therefore going to enlightenment by the condition of others' instructions, like the example of a small kingdom following a Wheel-Turning King. Fifth, not entering the three great ones, therefore turning away from the three things to be done, like water.
