Secondly, the actual summit application with reasons is divided into four: the application path summit application, the seeing and meditation paths, and the uninterrupted summit application. The first is also divided into four. First, the summit application of heat is said to have twelve aspects. This is stated directly. By whom? By the Thus-Gone One. Where are the signs of having attained the summit application? What are the twelve? Even in the state of dreaming, viewing all knowable phenomena as dreamlike, and so forth, such as viewing sounds, images, optical illusions, transformations, and cities of gandharvas as such, are the six signs of dreaming. When giving a self-prophecy, saying, "May this fire be extinguished," the words of the city and so on are completely pacified, accomplishing the blessing of truth, without arrogance, and so on, are the six signs of awakening. Alternatively, this individual has the quality of having attained the summit application because he possesses twelve aspects, such as viewing all phenomena as dreamlike even in dreams. It is pervasive because the Buddha established the twelve as signs of the summit application. Thus, it is connected. Secondly, the summit application of the summit is that as many beings as there are in Jambudvipa, all of whom have become Buddhas, some of whom generate the mind of enlightenment, and offer to those Buddhas until they remain, and dedicate the merit to great enlightenment, and as many beings as there are from the two continents to the three thousand worlds, all of whom have become Buddhas, some of whom generate the mind of enlightenment, and offer to those Buddhas until they remain, and dedicate the merit to great enlightenment, are exemplified in many ways. Therefore, abiding in one's own summit application, teaching the Mother Sutra to others for just one day, and practicing with the mind focused on the Mother Sutra, merit increases, and so on, are the eight merits that are primarily external, and the eight merits that are primarily internal, which are the nature of sixteen. With this, the previous example of offering to the Buddha and so on shows that merit generally increases more and more, but the sixteen cannot show that the latter is more excellent than the former. According to the Eight Thousand Verses and the Abhisamayalankara, as many beings as there are in Jambudvipa, all of whom obtain a human body without precedence, and generate the mind of enlightenment until the end of their lives or for a year.

Having given charity to countless millions of worlds, it is said that staying in a place where one remembers the one who possesses the mother for a day, rather than dedicating it to enlightenment, increases merit. Both can be used for practice and can be used for scriptures. The third is patience, which is called manifestation. In that, the Omniscient One himself completely perfects all thirty-three dharmas and dedicates them to unsurpassed enlightenment, and he himself also enters into it. In this way, dedication is also for the sake of abandoning falling into peace, and with compassion, he does not completely abandon the benefit of sentient beings, and each enters into it. How is it called steadfast because it does not turn back from the two? The fourth is the supreme dharma culmination, which is called complete proclamation. In that, the hidden meaning of the sutra is samadhi, and the explicit teaching is the two of following rejoicing. What is the nature of the two? The first is, by the power of the perception of two and non-two, the mind does not enter into other meanings other than itself, but abides in one object. The second is, the first generation of mind, entering into practice, not turning back, following the rejoicing of the merit of the mind generation of the four bodhisattvas who will be born once. From where is it said? It is said from the sutra. How is it that the four continents and the first thousand and the second thousand and the third thousand of the land stones are measured by weight, and the number of water drops divided into hundreds of parts of the tip of the hair, each as a metaphor, with the two metaphors, in order, the two meanings are shown as the nature of many merits. The second is the culmination of the path of seeing, in the body distinction. On the path called seeing, there are four kinds of discriminations, four kinds of antidotes, etc., from the reversal of the antidotes of the four kinds of discriminations of what is to be abandoned and what is to be grasped, it is said that here, when explaining that, the discriminations of what is to be abandoned and what is to be grasped are explained, and the culmination of the antidote path of seeing is explained. The first has two aspects: showing and explaining. The first has the discrimination of what is to be grasped and the discrimination of what is to be taken. The first has the object of discrimination, the nature, the division, and the cause of being placed as discrimination. The first is, the nature of not focusing on the characteristics is what should be entered, and the nature of focusing on that is the object of what should be reversed. The second is, focusing on those two objects, it is obvious to be attached to what should be entered and what should be reversed.
