What is the function, and the reason for the opposite of this. The second case is that the pure Dharma of the Buddha is that all aspects to be abandoned are completely pure, because each of the nine grounds possesses the antidote to the nine defilements from great to great to small to small, and the nine paths of liberation that are completely attained. The third is that, according to the teacher, it is to eliminate the dispute, the meaning established by eliminating the dispute. The first case is that, for the order of abandonment and antidote mentioned in "nine grounds" etc., the antidotes that arise first need to be generated through great effort, so they are great, and the later antidotes are generated through small ones, so they are small, and the things to be abandoned first are easy to abandon, so they are small, and the later ones are the opposite of this. For such a dispute, just as the coarse dirt attached to clothes can be removed with little effort, and the washer needs to put in great effort to remove the fine dirt, through this analogy, the previously mentioned order of abandonment and antidote is established. The second case is that the nine unobstructed paths of the Mahayana path of meditation are considered to be the antidote to all the obscurations of knowledge of the three realms, which is reasonable because it directly realizes the mind that measures and the things that are measured as they are, as the equality of no self-nature. That is to say, in short, in the ultimate truth, the answer that abandonment and antidote are not established is direct, and the answer of the conventional truth is shown indirectly. In the Ornament, it is the meaning spoken in the opposite way. In the Manifestation of Ornament, it says: "Having the aspect of the three realms, the measurer and the measured are equal, through eliminating the dispute about this, it is considered to be the true antidote." Therefore, the focus of the dispute is the classification of abandonment and antidote mentioned in "nine grounds" etc., and the statement that "the measurer and the measured are equal." The way of arguing is: It is unreasonable for the measurer and the measured to be equal, because through recognizing the duality of abandonment and antidote, the things to be abandoned gradually disappear from large to small, while the antidotes gradually arise from small to large. The answer to this is that in the ultimate truth, abandonment and antidote are not established, so it will not be recognized as such, etc. Among the three stages of dispute and the three stages of answer, the answers of the ultimate truth that are directly shown indicate that the antidote has entered the state of the object of meditation, while the answers of the conventional truth that are indirectly shown indicate the conventional

Therefore, it is shown that abandoning the antidote is reasonable. To summarize, the Mahayana path of meditation is the antidote to all afflictive and cognitive obscurations of the three realms, which is the meaning of the last phrase. Explanation of the second chapter in the commentary on the Ornament for Clear Realization, "Illuminating the Profound Meaning." Chapter Three, on the Basis of Wisdom. It is explained in two aspects, including grasping the meaning of the key points explained by the teacher: the nature of the Basis of Wisdom, and the summary of the three wisdoms. The first point is: If one does not understand the difference between the unfavorable aspects of the basis and the antidotal aspects, one cannot understand the path well, so the Basis of Wisdom is explained after the Wisdom of the Path. Among them, there are three aspects: the Basis of Wisdom of the object of entry, the means of entry, and the Path of Seeing as the result of entry. The first point is: "This shore, the other shore, is not the limit." etc., one verse directly shows the Basis of Wisdom of the Bodhisattva, and indirectly shows the Basis of Wisdom of the Hinayana. Among these two, the indirectly shown Basis of Wisdom of the Hinayana, because it clings to characteristics, is not skilled in the means of accomplishing the Fruit Mother, so it is far from the Fruit Mother; the directly shown Basis of Wisdom of the Bodhisattva, because it does not cling to characteristics, is skilled in the means of accomplishing the Fruit Mother, so it is close to the Fruit Mother. This is what is shown by the verse: "That is the door of clinging to characteristics." In addition, the indirectly shown Basis of Wisdom of the Hinayana, because it clings to characteristics in the three aspects of basis, path, and result, is shown as an unfavorable aspect. Clinging to characteristics in the basis is shown by: "Form, etc., aggregates, emptiness, phenomena included in the three times, the thought of practice is unfavorable." Clinging to characteristics in the path is shown by: "Generosity, etc., aspects of enlightenment, the thought of practice is unfavorable." Clinging to characteristics in the result is shown by: "Subtle attachment arises to kings, etc." The directly shown Basis of Wisdom of the Bodhisattva, because it understands that the three aspects of basis, path, and result are without self-nature, is shown as an antidote. The antidote to clinging to characteristics in the basis is: considering that it will be shown in the following entry into the means, so it is not directly shown here. The antidote to clinging to characteristics in the path is shown by the three verses: "In generosity, etc., there is no self-grasping." The antidote to clinging to characteristics in the result is: All phenomena.
