Protecting from harm done by earth gods and the like, and rescuing from harm transformed from occurrences and the like, or hiding inner harms, etc., or averting harm arising from non-virtue to be experienced in the present dharma, as well as after birth, and in other instances, thereby sequentially protecting, etc. The third is that, in the post-meditation state, from the time that the ten virtues, such as not killing, are grasped by special skillful means and wisdom, until the attainment of the nature of omniscience, that is, abiding in the Mahayana, and also having the ability to establish other sentient beings therein, and so on. The fourth is that, there, the ability to dedicate the merit of generosity and the like to perfect enlightenment in a way that does not focus on the benefit of others, and so on. Merely relying on these two and the words of the four aspects of the origin of suffering, to think that the path of seeing generally has a post-meditation state, and especially to think that simultaneous and post-meditation states arise alternately, is an inverted explanation of the root commentary, which will be refuted elsewhere. So, which of the three aspects of preparation, main practice, and subsequent practice are these? The teacher and his followers initially thought it was the first, because the commentary says, "After each moment, with that and that aspect focusing on all dharmas, that and that moment of forbearance and knowledge will arise." The translator thought it was the third, but this is the aspect of equipoise, because in the post-meditation state it is expressed by qualities, which means that the ability to do that and that is obtained in equipoise, just like correct speech and the end of action. As the wise ones have said. Third, the summary meaning is that the aspects of the sixteen moments in the context of understanding the path itself are as previously explained. Second, the path of meditation is divided into the agent of meditation and the path of meditation with an agent. The former has six, which are condensed into three: the agent of the person, maturation, and self-result. The former has two types of pacification: inner and outer afflictions. The former has two, of which the two temporary results are: first, to completely subdue or pacify the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation, that is, to make the mind workable. Second, to abandon pride, thereby prostrating to all lamas. This distinguishes it from the Mind-Only school, thereby showing that in the first ground, the seeds of abandonment and realization of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers are perfected.

Second, the ultimate result is to conquer the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation, which is unstoppable. Second, the pacification of external harms is that there is no hindrance to meditation from the harm of spells, fire, water, weapons, etc., which is called the result of separation. Second, the result of maturation is the attainment of perfect enlightenment. Third, the basis of the path of meditation, the place where the Bodhicitta and the Prajnaparamita sutra are located, should also be treated as an object of offering. Second, there are contaminated and uncontaminated paths of meditation. The first has three aspects. First, belief also has two aspects: the actual and the benefits. First, it is explained in detail by classification, summarizing the meaning of numbers. First, the basis for classifying belief included in the contaminated path of meditation. The classification of the body is: for one's own benefit, for the benefit of both oneself and others, and for the belief for the benefit of others, it should be understood as three types. The classification of limbs is: those three are also individually, each having small, medium, and large, which are considered to be three types each. The classification of self-limbs is: those nine are also divided into three types each, such as small of small. Second, each of the three beliefs has nine types, so it is considered that there are twenty-seven types of belief. Here, the distinction of boundaries by the three beliefs also applies to the following two explanations. If you want to know how the boundaries of the ground are distinguished, then among the three beliefs, each with nine types, the three small of small exist from the second ground's subsequent attainment, up to the three large of large existing in the subsequent attainment of the tenth ground. Similarly, the following two should also be understood. Second, the benefit is that for the object of action, the fruit, the Prajnaparamita, the nine stages of self-benefit belief, the nine of two-benefits, and the nine of other-benefits, for the agent, there are only nine praises, only nine respects, and only nine admirations. With three sets of nine, for the nature of the action, the first stage is praise, the second stage is respect, and the third stage is admiration. Second, dedicating to the path of meditation, the basis of classification is the complete dedication of the nature of the contaminated path of meditation of Bodhicitta. Those twelve are summarized into five, namely the general nature, eliminating clinging to reality, the aspect of union, and being separated from contradictory factors.
