It is the distinction of the wisdom of severance. The great object is that for all dharmas, with the true wisdom of "What is the nature of this, what is the characteristic?" to completely realize, that is the distinction of examination. The aspect is, when examining in that way, it is the distinction of the wisdom of realizing that all dharmas are without object. The second is, thus becoming the peak, is small, medium, and large. Connecting in this way, as previously explained, the peak possessing these three: object, aspect, and cause, small, medium, and large, has the dharma. It is called becoming the peak, because it is the peak of the root of virtue being shaken by the unfavorable side. The third is the objects of patience, etc., there are two: detailed explanation and brief explanation. The first has three, among which, the object of the small one is the very nature of the general and specific, etc., of form, etc., is emptiness itself. The aspect is that the object of the general and specific does not exist, in the presence of beings with objects, it is the distinction of the wisdom of realizing the nature of form, etc., it is of the two truths. The object of the medium one is that, for those forms, etc., in terms of meaning, there is no birth, no samsara, no escape, that is, no cessation, no nirvana. The aspect is, realizing the nature of all dharmas, it is the distinction of the wisdom of realizing the cause of complete purification of the three doors in the state of Buddha, it is from the aspect of cause. Those three are, the body has marks and examples, the speech has sixty branches of melodious sounds, the mind has great compassion. The translator says so. How to truly transcend with the three, that is, transcending from the ripening, is that the ten actions of the three doors are completely purified, therefore the three doors are completely purified. When the thirty-two marks abide, they are purified by abiding and brightness and completeness. The vessel and content world are completely purified and purified. Transcending from the continuum of bad destinies is not generating a mind with desire, etc. Transcending from complete deterioration is constantly being born miraculously, the son says so. The object of the great one is that, for those forms, etc., in terms of ultimate truth, because there are no self-general characteristics, therefore all dharmas have no characteristics such as permanent or impermanent. The aspect is, because it is empty by nature, therefore form, etc., does not rely on its characteristics, that is, without reliance or without manifest clinging, therefore it is not faith, that is, not with the general aspect of faith intention not

Faith and lack of consciousness, that is, truly believing in that very nature through mindfulness, and not manifestly disbelieving, is the distinction of wisdom that understands this. The second is: 'Having become patient in this way, small, medium, and large.' Connect in this way. As previously explained, the three types of patience—small, medium, and large—possess the three aspects of object, aspect, and cause. It is called 'having become patient' because having attained this, one does not go to the lower realms due to karma and afflictions, and therefore one is patient with the meaning of the unborn. Fourth, the supreme Dharma. There are two: detailed explanation and summary. The first also has three parts. First, the object of the small is to realize that all phenomena are unborn, and to meditate on samadhi such as engaging in courageous conduct. The aspect is the distinction of wisdom that understands that the function of that samadhi is to attain Buddhahood or to engage in the sphere of activity of all samadhis. In the commentary, three things are explained regarding this: where, how, and by what cause. The object of the medium is the samadhi that becomes the cause of prophecy. If prophecy is not attained on the eighth bhumi, then that is prophecy at a definite time through the gates of name, retinue, and signs, and is called manifest prophecy. Here, there is no definite time, so it is called hidden prophecy. The aspect is the distinction of wisdom that understands the self-nature of samadhi as free from elaboration, and in the three—application, main part, and subsequent part—the pride of thinking, 'I am equally abiding, have abided, have completely abided' is exhausted, through the door of suchness. The object of the large is that the bodhisattva, samadhi, and the Mother, these three cannot be shown separately because their essence is one. The aspect is the distinction of wisdom that understands that not conceptually thinking about the three spheres in samadhi is the supreme method for the arising of the path of seeing, through the door of suchness. The second is: 'Thus, the supreme Dharma of the world is small, medium, and large.' Connect in this way. As previously explained, the supreme Dharma—small, medium, and large—possesses the three aspects of object, aspect, and cause. It is called the supreme Dharma because it is the supreme of all worldly dharmas. The second, possessing, is conceptual thought.
