Because it is merely not produced from the earth, and because it relies on the fact that past phenomena do not exist as substance, and because it is not established that it arises from it, and because there is no characteristic of form. The answer from eight aspects relies on scriptural authority to show that, for that unobstructed form, because it appears in the realm of meditative absorption, it is taught as the form of the realm of phenomena, which is the mastery of form, not the realm of the eye sense, and it does not obscure the realm, and it appears in the form of form. The Mind-Only School believes that uncontaminated form appears as form in the subsequent wisdom of the noble ones, and does not increase defilements. The टीका says that it is identified on the basis of the thought during the time of equipoise and the basis of uncontaminated vows, and it is exemplified as the form and vessel of an Arhat. Substance-born is the mind of giving of the giver to the field of merit, which is transformed by the power of cultivating the ability to accomplish great fruits in future lives, and it comes from the difference of planting seeds. Not born from substance is also from the transformation of the continuum of focusing on a special object again and again, even in dreams there is a connection, indicating that even in sleep it is habitual. The fourth answer is that the difference of the previous action is the difference of harming others, so that the actor can clearly accomplish the result in the future, even if it is done by oneself, at the time of the actual action, the continuum is transformed because of the power of one's own action harming others. The difference of the transformation of the continuum is like something that is not knowledge, not the nature of diligence, but is established as action, because it becomes the fruit of the mind, it is called action. The fifth answer is just what was said before. The sixth answer is that the reason for entering into correct speech etc. at the time of subsequent attainment is that, for obtaining the uncontaminated, the reason is established as speech etc. The Madhyāntavibhāga says: "Seeing and discipline exist, behavior is hidden, desiring to explain to others." Some think that not all existing things are pervaded by substantial existence, just like not finding it. The seventh answer is to first perform the ritual, and with the mind of vowing to abandon what should be abandoned, to abandon what should be abandoned, and at other times, when the conditions are near, to protect the vows with the memory of habitual vows. The eighth answer is to remember the vow not to do because of shame

If one doesn't act even when the immediate cause is present, then it's wrong. If it weren't so, then there would be no downfall when forgetting. In short, the meaning of these scriptures is that the Sautrāntikas merely say, "This is many and various, and if it is not so," and say nothing more. The teachers explain that some are known to the Mind-Only school, and some are composed by themselves. Secondly, the Vaibhāṣikas do not abandon their own tenets, so they believe that (these) are substantial and caused by the elements. Then, is it a manifestation or different from a manifestation? (Answer:) A single element cannot be the cause of both subtle and coarse results, so it is different. Moreover, the manifestation that is not in equipoise is merely the present element of the basis, and if it is considered to be a dependent arising, then the words of the commentary below would be contradictory. Gangs-spel (a person's name) said that those dependent arisings are like the mind because they are simultaneous. Moreover, the non-manifestation belonging to the desire realm, when taking vows etc. in the first moment, because the past has not preceded it, the basic elements arise now. From then on, the second etc. are accomplished by manifestation and thought, like a hand rolling a wheel, the cause of entering and propelling is each of the past basic elements; like a place, the cause of following and relying is born from the present elements of body and speech. The basic elements of other form are present. The commentary says, "The basis of other things that have been caused is the present element, just like that." This is how it is explained. Then, is the defiled manifestation of body and speech part of the earth element? Because it is separated by other desires, the ability cannot enter, so from the desire realm to the fourth dhyāna, only the elements of body and speech of their respective earth realms are produced as causes. The undefiled vows are born from the elements of the body in which they arise, because there are no elements of one's own realm except for the three realms, and because it is a result form, it must be born from the elements, and because there is no bondage of desire, the ability can enter. Third, the difference in one's own nature is that the non-manifestation is not a body with a collection of senses, so it is not a basis for mind and mental factors, therefore it is ungrasped. In the Vibhajyavāda it is said that all the bases of the precepts of a lay follower are ungrasped.
