are the four aggregates of one's own ground by focusing on pervasiveness. Second, the way to obtain them is that the attainment of cessation, the basis, and the individual have already been explained in the second chapter. The remaining ones are obtained by combining familiarity with detachment and unfamiliarity. Third, the basis is the liberation called formlessness, which is the basis of the three realms. The remaining nineteen are born from the basis of humans because they are produced by scripture. Fourth, if the gods do not have scripture, how do the higher absorptions of the higher realms arise in those two upper realms? There, the formless absorption arises from the power of the cause of equal potential and the power of karma that causes it to abide in a lineage that is conducive to the arising of that absorption. Although there is a cause for that, karma is the main thing. The meditations of the higher and higher realms arise in the lower and lower realms of the form realm from those two causes, and also by nature, such as when the world is destroyed. At that time, all sentient beings engage in virtuous dharmas to a great extent, so they will abide in a lineage that is conducive to the arising of meditation. There is also a cause for that, but because fear is near, it is called nature, and nature is Ṭīkā. Some Sautrāntikas say that nature is the nature or essence that is conducive to the arising of virtuous conduct to a great extent due to the power of the habits of previous meditation and without scripture. Some Vaibhāṣikas say that nature is the arising of the fruit of the same kind of meditation from the cause of equal potential in a previous life without having heard its scripture from others. It is said that it arises from the habits of previous meditation without scripture. Also, the arising of one's own ground is not nature, and the gods of desire also have those causes. On top of that, humans have the power of scripture, such as the seven attentions and the nine ways of abiding in the mind, so there are three and four. The eighth chapter of the commentary on the Abhidharmakośa, called "The Sun That Clearly Illuminates the Meaning of the Text." ༈ །། Third, the activity of completely understanding the meaning of the text includes the classification of the Teacher's sacred Dharma, the individual who holds it, how the treatise was composed, asking for forgiveness of faults, and advising those who desire liberation to be mindful. The first is:

The teachings of the teacher will remain as long as the mother doctrine of Tibet remains. If we differentiate this, the Dharma spoken by the holy ones or that which makes holy is of two types: the Dharma of transmission or guidance, which is the three baskets (Tripitaka), and the Dharma of self-nature, which is realized through it, which is the stages of enlightenment or the five paths. Cessation is not caused by the teacher, or although it is attained and realized by it, it is not mentioned because there is no time limit for its existence. The aforementioned transmission is thought to mean that if the light of transmission disappears, realization will also disappear. Secondly, the holding of these two Dharmas means that it exists only as long as there are speakers and practitioners. The time limit is five thousand years. Some say that realization exists only for that long, while transmission exists for much longer, and the commentary explains that this is reasonable. Thirdly, "I," etc., are two lines. Fourthly, "fault," etc., are two lines. Fifthly, "teacher," etc., are three verses. Thirdly, the meaning of the conclusion is the Abhidharma-kosa, etc. Whose wise neck is adorned with a hundred thousand and ninety-nine good treatises, and who clearly explains the treasury of the mother doctrine, which is the Abhidharma-kosa. Its commentary is free from the three faults and clearly explains the supreme meaning of the treatise. In whose ear, the pleasant good words resound, which is this great drum of victory. May I, with the wisdom to know all that is to be known, increase wisdom, possess compassion as vast as the sky (Tibetan: ཐུྃགས་རྗེྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Chinese literal meaning:), and be endowed with the auspicious wealth of the jewel of secret instructions (Tibetan: དཔལྃ་འབྱོར, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Chinese literal meaning:), written for the purpose of increasing the feast of benefit and happiness. By this merit of writing, as white as a snow mountain written by sunlight, may I in all lifetimes realize the meaning of non-origination, attain the mind of enlightenment, perfect the two accumulations with the strength of diligence, manifest the two bodies, and from the mud of the three existences, become the glory of leading beings of the three realms. May I at all times and places, for the words and meanings of the sutras and tantras, obtain unobstructed wisdom and unfailing dharani, abandon gain, respect, and weariness, and properly instruct the fortunate beings. May this good saying remain well as long as the sky remains, and with the words and meanings of the good saying
