It is said in the middle, and if it is a general name, it is not because of contradiction. In order to dispel doubts about inferior wisdom, there are three, among which the rejection of accepting as view is: If it is said that evil wisdom, for the five afflictions, is called the term for dispelling inferiority, called ignorance, just as saying non-son to an evil son. No, because ignorance and views, fetters, etc. are separately explained. Rejecting the acceptance of wisdom other than views as affliction: If it is said that wisdom that is not a view is in accordance with attachment, etc. No, because views are also said to be in accordance with ignorance, and the nature of the two wisdoms cannot arise simultaneously, and because of being mixed with attachment, etc., unmixed ignorance is unreasonable. The general display of rejection, neither of those two is correct, because the sutra shows that ignorance makes wisdom afflicted, just as mind and desire are separate. As the commentary says, merely not being wisdom, merely not having wisdom is not correct, because the sutra speaks of the terms of fetters and rivers, etc. The second is: name, the four aggregates that are not form aggregate are similar to name, so it is name. Mental consciousness and its retinue also rely on the famous name appearance in the world and focus on meaning, and everything arises depending on the root and the object, so it focuses on meaning. The third has five, among which, the difference of the expanded support is: from the gathering of the eye to the mind until the touch is six kinds, the characteristic is that the object, root, and consciousness three are gathered and arise. Second, the difference between the support and the object is: the first five of the six are dependent on the obstructive root, so it is the obstructive touch, the sixth is that one thing can establish many names, so it is verbal addition, because it is based on name. Established by the name of the object, called the touch of verbal addition, in this way, the mind is based on the name, so the name of the object is established, and the touch is the name of the companion. Third, the difference between defilement and purification is: wisdom and ignorance and the three touches other than that are in order: the immaculate and the afflicted and the remaining contaminated virtue and the two unobscured and the corresponding touch. Fourth, dividing defilement from all aspects into two is: in the touch of ignorance, harmful mind and

The touch that is possessed as it arises subsequently, as stated in the sutras, is because it is close to arising and has great faults. The fifth is the classification based on the result: Feeling pleasure is what should be experienced or is suitable for experiencing. The cause of that, the agreeable object being cut off or corresponding to pleasure, is the touch that will be experienced. And so on, the three touches of experiencing suffering and equanimity, the sixteen touches, each part other than the fourth also includes all. The fourth has two parts: generally showing the classification, and specifically explaining the feelings of the mind. The first is: the six feelings that arise from that touch, such as the feeling that arises from the aggregation of the eye consciousness. The first five of the six are the feelings of the dependent body, and the feeling of the dependent mind is the other sixth. The classification of the dependent expanded and contracted is in that order. The second has: brief showing, extensive explanation, and summarizing the meaning. The first is: the feeling of the mind itself, with the distinction of moving closely in an unstable manner with thoughts and concepts, divided based on the nature of mental pleasure, etc., and the object and correspondence, is also eighteen types. The Vaibhashikas believe that, like a young person, relying on the mind, feeling runs on the object. The Sautrantikas believe the opposite. The second is divided into: how many are in the desire realm, in the form realm, and in the formless realm. The first is: in the desire realm, everything exists, and with the six objects of one's own ground, the lovable, unlovable, and intermediate are the objects. If that field of activity takes form as its object, then other than smell and taste, the three feelings run on the four, so there are twelve. If the above formless is the object, then only dharma, the one, has three feelings running on it. The second is: meditation, in the first two meditations there is no unpleasantness, so there are twelve, that is, two feelings go to the six objects of the desire realm and run. If one's own realm is the object, then there are two feelings on the four objects, so there are eight. In the formless realm, the two feelings take dharma as their object, which are two. In the upper two meditations, there are six equanimities, and the object of the six is the six objects of the desire realm. In one's own realm, the four objects are taken as the object. In the above formless realm, there is only one equanimity that runs on dharma as the object. If there is mental pleasure in the third meditation, then it is reasonable that there are twelve close movements.
