A mere loss of fruit will not lead to immediate death, because one cherishes the fruit, does not let it be lost, and does not do anything that contradicts the fruit. Fifth, for those with the capacity for realization and who are unwavering, there is only one path of application for the transference of faculties, while there are nine paths of liberation and non-interruption, because this type of nature has been greatly cultivated and stabilized by the previous two paths. It is like an impure recitation that becomes difficult to correct after a long time. Those who attain transference through faith or seeing the path each have three paths, because they are only familiar with the path of learning. The path of transferring faculties is also uncontaminated, because the uncontaminated object being transferred cannot necessarily arise from an inferior place to a superior one. Moreover, this transference increases within humans, not in the heavens, because the higher heavens are said not to degenerate, and the desire realm gods who have seen the truth also do not degenerate due to their sharpness. The path of ordinary beings is contaminated, and the basis is subject to degeneration, so it is also possible in the heavens. This is similar to the way of obtaining fruit previously, so the non-learner relies on the nine uncontaminated grounds, while the learner, whether attached or detached, relies on the six meditation grounds that they have attained accordingly. If one has attained the three formless realms, why not rely on them? That is not the case. Because when the faculties increase, the dull can only obtain the fruit, and even if one obtains a special fruit, one will abandon it and obtain the fruit of the sharp. This is because one has abandoned the abandonment of cultivation in the desire realm, so the formless realm cannot serve as an antidote to the desire realm. Second, dividing into nine types, there are two. The first is: the Buddhas are divided into two types, great and medium, the immovable are divided into two types, naturally abiding and arising from cultivation, and then there are the seven Shravakas, determined as these nine because they possess nine types of faculties. Second, dividing into seven

There are six things when divided. Like this, the three paths have two each of sharp and dull. The fifth is a combination of the third and fourth. The second is, the first five of the seven have been explained, and in the two paths of no more learning, the one who has attained cessation is liberated from both the part of the obscuration of absorption by the eight absorptions and the part of the obscuration of affliction by the wisdom such as the vajra-like one. The other one who has not attained cessation is liberated from afflictions by wisdom relying solely on the invincible, the former is adorned because it possesses the qualities of clairvoyance etc., the latter is without adornment. The third is, the training of the three, namely, the attainment of cessation, absorption, the attainment of seeing, the follower of the Dharma, the faculties, and the fruit of non-return, is called complete. Furthermore, for the first two and the middle one, there are two sets of four possibilities, and for the completion of absorption, there is no non-completion of the fruit, so these two have three possibilities. The no more learning is definitely the fruit of Arhat, so it does not combine with the time of others' power, and it is liberated from both parts by absorption, and it is completed by both, so there are four possibilities: the faculties are complete but not by absorption, it is the liberation of wisdom without combining with time; the second possibility is liberation from both when combining with time; the third is liberation from both without combining with time; the fourth is liberation by wisdom when combining with time. Third, explaining the specific characteristics of the path itself, dividing it into four paths, showing the path that is different in place and faculties, showing that it is in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment, dispelling disputes about the meaning of the sutras, and the liberation attained by the path. The first is, if all the paths of liberation are summarized, there are four types of paths: the path of joining where the uninterrupted path arises at the end, the uninterrupted path that eliminates obscurations, the path of liberation that arises first from being liberated from obscurations by it, and other than these paths, there are two, the continuum of subsequent cognition and the moment of exhaustion of cognition, and the special features such as dwelling in bliss in the Dharma that is seen, there are four in total. Why is it called a path? Because the sound of *mārga* (藏文:མཱརྒ།,梵文天城体:मार्ग,梵文罗马拟音:mārga,汉语字面意思:道) causes one to go to the place of the fruit, so it is a path, one goes to liberation relying on it, or one seeks liberation by it. Then, in the case of the last two, since liberation has already been attained, how can it be a path?
