Thus it is. Secondly, the conduct of a renunciate, and its result, which is the conduct of Brahma having abandoned afflictions or Nirvana, can also be called essence or means. It is also called the Wheel of Brahma, as the Buddha is said to be Brahma because he possesses the supreme conduct of Brahma, and therefore he turns it. If the sutra says, "The Dharma wheel is turned three times with twelve aspects," what path is that? It is the path of seeing, because it is in accordance with the wheel and the Dharma. In accordance with what? Like a precious wheel swiftly travels to the four continents, and abandoning other places and entering other places, and causing those who have not overcome the small kingdoms of the desire realm, etc., to gain victory, and establishing the victors by entering them into the ten virtues, and like the earth rising in high places and descending in low places, the fifteen moments of the path of seeing are swift and travel swiftly, and abandoning all knowable and tolerable other truths and entering, and the uninterrupted path causes those who have not overcome the seen-to-be-abandoned to gain victory, and the path of liberation establishes the victors by those who have attained separation, and rising to the truth of the higher realms and descending to the desire realm. The melodious voice of the disciplined one is: among the eight limbs of the noble path of seeing, the four, namely right view, right thought, right effort, and right mindfulness, are like spokes entering each other, and because they cut off the conceptual thoughts of what is to be abandoned by seeing, they are spokes, and the other three aspects of morality are the hub because they are the basis for the arising of mind and wisdom, and concentration is like the rim because the mind is focused on the object. Thus it is said in the sutra, when the path of seeing arose in Kaundinya who knows all, the gods said, "The Blessed One has turned the wheel of Dharma." In the sutra, starting from suffering (duḥkha,दुःख,duḥkha,痛苦), the noble truth of the path, when I remembered the dharmas that I had not heard before, the meaning of the arising of the eye, etc. The three turnings are: this is the noble truth of suffering (duḥkha,दुःख,duḥkha,痛苦) is the essence, knowing it is the action, and knowing it is the ultimate is the three turnings. The twelve aspects are: each of them manifests, because there is no ignorance and doubt, it is knowledge, and because of the correct meaning, it is reason, and because of the extreme purity, wisdom arises, for the other three truths, it is action, ultimate, and manifestation.

And again, it is as before because of the difference in meditation. Thus, although there are twelve turnings and forty-eight aspects, they are similar in groups of three and twelve, so it is said there, like saying a monk who is skilled in the seven places. Among them, the Sutra School and the Sunlight School consider the three turnings to be the aspect of equipoise, and those with eyes, etc., think it is so if examined by other wisdom. The Kashmiris determine that there are sixteen aspects of equipoise, believing that the path of seeing has little function, but is mainly the essence; the path of meditation has function because the essence of truth has been seen; the path of no more learning has no function because the essence has been seen, and is the ultimate turning. The teacher thinks that if this is the case, how can the Dharma wheel be established by explaining only the three turnings in the path of seeing? Therefore, the general path is the Dharma wheel, and the three turnings are the three such as turning in essence, and the twelve aspects are four aspects each by the difference of the four truths in each category. What is said in the sutra refers to the initial start of turning. Third, only in the desire realm can the first three fruits be obtained, because the first two have not been freed from the desire realm, and the third is the preliminary of the once-returning fruit, or one will not be born in the upper realm without abandoning the ninth category, and after abandoning it, one becomes a non-returning fruit. Finally, the Arhat is severed by the antidote of the peak of existence, so he can be born in all three realms, so he can be obtained in all three realms. If it is said that the non-returning fruit with detachment as the preliminary has been freed from the desire realm and obtained, why can't it be obtained in the upper realm? Because there is none in the upper realm, this refers to the arising of the uncontaminated path of meditation and the abandonment of the seeings to be abandoned of the peak of existence, divided by the path of seeing, because there is no newly born path of seeing there. Why? Because all the actions of the upper realms are attached to the bliss of equipoise, and there is no suffering, so they are not disgusted, and without disgust, they do not make the path of definite departure from samsara. In the proof of the ten categories, it is also said that among the ten, two stream-enterers, two once-returners, five non-returners, and Arhats, the other five cultivate here and are perfected here, and the five non-returners cultivate here and are perfected there. The third is the difference of the fruit position, divided into six, divided into nine, and summarized into six things.
