In order to make the fruit position a special place, not striving to obtain other fruit positions is not entering that fruit position, but if one strongly strives to abandon what should be abandoned in order to obtain the later fruit position, then that is entering that fruit position. Second, it is about the classification of the reasons for abandoning the antidote, and the classification of those with reasons. First, from the earth and the desire realm to the peak of existence, the faults, that is, the objects to be abandoned, are ninety-nine kinds, and similarly, the merits, that is, the antidotes, are also ninety-nine kinds each. How to understand it? Because the fundamental classifications are small, medium, and large, and each has differences such as small of small. Therefore, from the small antidote, gradually abandon the large objects to be abandoned. Second, it is about the content of entering the stream, once coming, and not coming. First, there are only and special distinctions. First, if the stream entry is divided into seven existences and family to family, the former is divided into uncertain and definite types. The former refers to the fact that one has previously accumulated the karma of experiencing seven existences, dwells in the fruit position, and through practice, the objects to be abandoned have not been exhausted at all, and one attains nirvana between the thirteen existences. The latter is as desired, that is, after reaching the peak, one must experience seven existences. After that, one no longer experiences it, so it is said that one reaches the peak as desired, this is the victorious son (referring to the Bodhisattva). Regarding the way of being born here, the views of each sect have refutations and establishments, which have been explained elsewhere. The second refers to the stream enterer who has been liberated from the three or four categories of cultivation and abandonment in the desire realm, and has obtained the antidote, the unpolluted root, but since the fifth category has not been abandoned before, it is not abandoned here either, and in the desire realm, one accepts two or three lifetimes of the same kind, and does not accept the fourth lifetime, this is family to family. For this person, whether it is a god or a human, they accept two or three lifetimes on that basis, and then attain nirvana on that basis. Second, it is about the enterer and the fruit position dweller. First, the stream enterer with a special fruit position has abandoned one to five categories of cultivation and abandonment in the desire realm, and has obtained the practice of abandoning the sixth category, this is entering the second fruit, the once-coming fruit. Second, there are only and special types. First, the sixth category of afflictions in the desire realm has been extinguished.

and not striving to abandon the seventh, that is called merely a once-returner. In the desire realm, that is called a once-returner, although taking birth twice, but not taking two similar births, therefore it will not transform from one class to another. The second is: That one abiding in the fruit, having exhausted seven or eight parts of faults, and having obtained the uncontaminated faculty that is the antidote to them, is separated by one lifetime from obtaining arhatship and by one fault from obtaining non-return, therefore it is called one lifetime one interruption, that is, when seven parts are exhausted, although two interruptions remain, it is also called one interruption. The difference between being attached to and detached from desire is distinguished by whether or not the ninth affliction of desire is abandoned. What is said above about manifesting nirvana in the higher realm based on the body of a god refers to the case of obtaining the path of seeing in the body of a god in the desire realm, or it is thought that this is to represent those with human bodies, it needs to be examined. The third part includes two: entering the stream and abiding in the fruit. The first is: That special once-returner also enters the third fruit. The second includes two: merely and special. The first is: That person who has obtained the liberation path of exhausting the ninth affliction of the desire realm, but does not strive to abandon the afflictions of the upper realm, that is the merely one abiding in the fruit of non-return. The second is: The classification of special ones. It is placed in the later stream-enterer. The first is: Classifying from the perspective of the way of taking birth. Placing from the perspective of the way of obtaining qualities. The first is: Going to a higher realm. Passing away in this life. Explaining the differences between them. The first is: Approaching the form realm, approaching the formless realm. The first includes intermediate passing away, birth passing away, and going above. The non-returner approaching the form realm has three. The first is the intermediate passing away, that is, having abandoned the binding of being born in the form realm, but not having abandoned the binding of manifesting, therefore passing away in the intermediate state of the form realm. The three divisions of this will be explained below. The second is the birth passing away, that is, not having abandoned both bindings of the form realm, therefore being born in the form realm and passing away. Among them, the path arises naturally, passing away as soon as it is born, and although striving on the path, the path does not arise naturally, needing to be accompanied by manifest effort to completely pass away, and although not very striving on the path, the path naturally
