It is. All contaminated activities are dharmas, and they are suffering because contaminated feelings, pleasant, unpleasant, and the third other than these two, along with the contaminated dharmas that have a basis, place, and companions, are in their own way appropriately associated with suffering itself. Third, refuting the argument: Contaminated happiness also becomes suffering, so wouldn't there be no happiness in the world? Answer: In relation to the minds of ordinary beings, it is designated as happiness, but in relation to the vision of the noble ones, it is suffering. Again, if the truth of the path is also impermanent, then it would be a consequence of being suffering. Answer: It does not become suffering, because it leads to the exhaustion of all suffering, so it is in accordance with the noble ones, and because it has transcended the initial suffering. Second, not all contaminated things are the origin of suffering, because the sutra says that only craving is the origin of suffering. Answer: There is no fault, because it is referring to the main thing. Second, explaining the two truths: If the capable one has spoken of the two truths, then what are the characteristics and bases of these two? Answer: If a dharma is destroyed by destructive disintegration, then its mind does not arise and its name cannot be obtained, like a vase; if a dharma is not harmed by destructive disintegration, but the mind can exclude it as another dharma, then its mind does not arise, like the water in a vase, this is the conventional truth; the ultimate truth is different from the previous two, it is not harmed by the two kinds of disintegration, but exists independently. The bases are the moment and the subtle particles included in the substance, and the dharmas that are without the two destructions and the unconditioned. Third, the way of arising, briefly explaining the way of entering, and extensively explaining the way of practicing. First, in two parts: the order of actions and the nature of consciousness. First: How can one see the truth by studying the method? Answer: First, abide in any of the seven vows of the foundation, have hearing that is in accordance with seeing the truth, and then think about the meaning of what you have heard by counting and measuring, and then diligently practice meditation that transcends the world and the world beyond, and that is seeing the truth. Second: The consciousness that arises from hearing relies on the name to enter into the meaning, the wisdom that arises from thinking sometimes relies on the name, and sometimes the meaning leads to the name, it is the object of both, and the wisdom that arises from meditation does not rely on the name but only on the meaning, this is the view of the Vaibhashikas.

It is refuted that if wisdom arising from thought is considered from the perspective of name, it becomes wisdom arising from hearing, and from the perspective of meaning, it becomes wisdom arising from meditation, thus making it impossible to find wisdom arising from thought. The self-school, however, believes that it relies on credible teachings, rational analysis, and wisdom arising from samadhi. Second, the difference of the practitioner as a suitable vessel, and the stages of the path to be cultivated accordingly. First, in general, the detailed explanation is divided into two parts. First, what kind of practitioner can complete the practice? If one possesses the two conditions of not being distracted in body and keeping the mind away from unwholesome thoughts, then one can complete it. Second, it is difficult to possess these two conditions, but it is easy in reverse. First, if one is unhappy with obtaining a small amount of bad things, is not content, and wants to obtain more good things, being greedy, then it is not easy for the path to arise, but it is easy in reverse. What is the difference between these two? The Vaibhashikas believe that repeatedly craving and desiring the obtained robes and other items is not knowing satisfaction; wanting to obtain what has not been obtained is being greedy. The Sautrantikas also think like the former. Second, showing the opposite antidote, and showing that this is the noble lineage. First, the opposite of not knowing satisfaction and being greedy is the antidote to these two. These two antidotes are the three belonging to the three realms and the fourth immaculate one. The essence is the nature of non-attachment. Second, the essence and analyzing its differences. First, non-attachment itself is called the noble lineage or noble nature, because noble Dharma arises from it. Among them, there are four types. First, the three types of non-attachment to robes, alms, and bedding are the nature of contentment. The fourth is not liking to abandon, cut off, and practice the path. These four are called non-attachment, because they turn their backs on attachment to existence and desire. Second, what ultimate meaning is shown, and the necessity of showing it in this way. First, what meaning do these four noble lineages show? The first three show behavior, and the last one shows action, meaning that if one abides with this behavior and does this action, one will obtain liberation. Second, why should one adopt such behavior and action? To counteract the four types of craving for clothes and so on that arise in the continuum of the person who is the basis.
