That is, the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. How is that? Second, the nature, object, and mode of arising of the two paths. First, the path of cultivation is of two kinds: the mundane path with defilements and the supramundane path without defilements. The so-called path of seeing is the antidote to the three realms, and because it abandons the nine categories of what is to be abandoned, both great and small, it is only without defilements. Because the mundane path does not have such power. Therefore, there are many differences between the path of seeing and the path of cultivation: in terms of nature, one is only without defilements, and the other is both; in terms of object, one only focuses on the four truths, and the other also focuses on the upper and lower grounds; in terms of aspects, one is truth and tranquility, and the other is the classification of paths, one is the path of non-interruption and the path of liberation, and the other is the four paths of application, etc.; in terms of the classification of nature, one is the two of knowledge and forbearance, and the other is only knowledge; in terms of the way of abandoning what is to be abandoned, one is to abandon all at once by knowing the object, and the other is to gradually abandon by familiarizing oneself with the antidote. Or, the 《 टीका 》 says that what is to be abandoned by cultivation has a basis, so it is stable and not abandoned all at once, so for what is to be abandoned by cultivation, there is no all-at-once abandonment and there is, which is the doctrine of the upper and lower schools. The Mahā (महा, mahā, great) also believes that this school has all-at-once abandonment. In terms of support, it is the desire realm and the three realms; in terms of continuity, it is only the noble ones, and others can also arise; in terms of the mode of arising, it arises from one seat, and others can also arise. Second, the four truths, and those two. First, there are classifications, the order of realization, and the showing of the suffering truth with defilements. First, if it is said that the object of the path is truth, then how many truths are there? There are four truths, namely suffering, origin, cessation, and path. The nature of each is as described before, that is, the reverse of the result of the five aggregates of appropriation is the truth of suffering, and the reverse of the cause is the truth of origin, and the commonality of things is accepted by the Vaibhāṣika school. The Sautrāntika school and others say that the aggregates of the parents of an arhat are the truth of suffering, but not the truth of origin. In summary, it is said that the aggregates of the separation from craving are not the truth of origin. The truth of cessation is a permanent phenomenon, the Sautrāntika school believes that it is only the non-affirming negation of the quiescence of defilements, the Yogācāra school believes that it is the non-affirming negation of the thusness free from defilements, and the Svātantrika school believes that it is the ultimate truth of non-affirming negation. The truth of the path is the non-defiled conditioned, and there is no disagreement on this. The reason for the definite number

ū is saying that, just as the noble teacher said, the fruit and cause of complete enlightenment are the four noble truths. The Sutra School also holds this view. Second, although the order of abandoning and accepting is like this, are the cause and effect of each reversed? No, these truths are in accordance with the order in which they are directly realized by the path of seeing, that is, in the sixteen moments of direct realization, first is the forbearance of knowledge of the dharma of suffering, and finally the four births of the path class, therefore, the object of the one that arises earlier is shown earlier, or the one that is realized earlier is shown earlier. Realizing in this order is also like a horse following the instructions of the text, it is due to the power of being accustomed to it in the path of preparation. For example, after seeing a disease, one thinks about its cause, and then seeks the cessation of the disease and looks for its method, that is, like seeing suffering in the path of preparation, one thinks about its cause, the origin of suffering, and then seeks the cessation of suffering, and follows the order of finding its method. In terms of definition, non-deception is truth, although it does not deceive even children, but the realization of truth requires a noble one to realize it, so it is called the noble truth. Third, is only one aspect of feeling not suffering? Why is it said that all contaminated things are suffering? The answer is divided into three: refutation, establishment, and abandonment. First, a monk of the Sutra School named Auspicious Guardian of Youth said: Although there is happiness, it is called suffering because it is little. This is unreasonable, because one aspect of feeling in the five aggregates and one-third of desire in the three realms are happiness, and saying that contaminated things are the cause of suffering is also the aspect of the origin of suffering. Auspicious Guardian said: The feeling of happiness does not exist, because happiness has no existing cause, and the sutra says that whatever one feels is suffering. This is unreasonable, because there is no reason to establish it, and there is a contradictory reason, that is, because it is believed that depending on the difference of the basis, the object is the cause of happiness, so it is not non-existent. Moreover, the scriptural proof is also intentional, and the intention refers to the impermanence and change of conditioned things. The contradictory reason is, what is the meaning of suffering? Is it harm or displeasure? If so, then benefit or pleasure is established as happiness, and even a small amount of suffering will give rise to the idea of happiness, which is contradictory, and in the former two there is no suffering, so the idea of happiness will not arise. Second, one's own answer
