It is to refute the slander of the assumed cause and the fruit that will surely be experienced later, and only the particle of the word is said, just like saying "the candle is extinguished." The second scripture and the first reasoning are similar, so if the two times (past and future) are the objective condition of consciousness, then the two times later than the fruit and the cause of the liberation consciousness are not possible, so it is not established. If it is only the object, then it is not certain, because the name of the thirteenth formless realm is also the object. The second reasoning is that in the second moment after the past, the habit is cultivated, and due to the difference in the transformation of that continuum, the seed is exhausted and the fruit arises simultaneously. Third, the conclusion of refutation is to establish one's own system, which is that what has arisen before, has been born but not destroyed, and can arise if there is a condition, is the three times, which is said in the sutras. The third is that although it is temporarily harmed by reasoning, the nature of all dharmas is deep, subtle (Sanskrit, Sūkṣma, सूक्ष्म, subtle) and difficult to realize, so it is beyond the realm of difficult to realize conceptualization. As it is said in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "Conceptualization is dependent and uncertain, not pervasive, is mundane and disgusting." Second, the way to establish abandonment as possessing is, if something is abandoned, is it separated from it? There is abandonment without separation, when the wisdom of दुख (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, duḥkha, Sanskrit Romanization, duhkha, suffering) arises, and the wisdom of 集 (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, samudaya, Sanskrit Romanization, samudaya, accumulation) does not arise, although what is to be abandoned by seeing suffering is abandoned, the remaining 集谛, with the 集谛 to be abandoned by seeing to take it as an object, because it is said that the object is not abandoned, so it is possessed between the unabandoned. Among the first eight aspects of what is to be abandoned by meditation, although they are abandoned, with the object of those aspects, the remaining defilements are not abandoned to take as an object, so it is possessed. Third, on what dharma does what mind take as an object, the five dharmas of the three realms of desire, form and formless, and what mind takes the unpolluted dharma as an object. First, with three dharmas and with two dharmas, what mind takes as an object. The first is, here, what thing is taken as an object by how many subtle to grow? The way to show the growth in short words is, if all the objects are summarized, then there are five to be abandoned in the three realms, and the unpolluted dharma, there are sixteen in total. Among these, the mind with the object is also sixteen. Among these, the suffering and its cause, the three to be abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of meditation, born from the desire realm, the number is the same, is self

The objects of the mind of the desire realm are threefold. First, the two all-pervasive consciousnesses have all three because they take all five objects of their own realm as their objects. Non-all-pervasive consciousnesses take their own real inverted dharmas as their objects. Cultivation-abandoned afflicted consciousnesses take only cultivation-abandoned dharmas as their objects. Non-afflicted consciousnesses take all three virtues of hearing, thinking, and meditation as their objects. That which belongs to the cultivation-abandoned of the form realm is only the virtue of the first preliminary concentration. The stainless, that is, the knowledge-acceptance and knowledge of suffering, origin, cessation, and path, and the uninterrupted path and the path of liberation, are the objects of the five consciousnesses. The three abandonments born from the form realm are the three minds of oneself, the two unequal all-pervasives of the lower desire realm, and the wisdom born from the cultivation-abandoned virtue of hearing and thinking, which are three. The three of the fourth dhyana are the cultivation-abandoned of the preliminary concentration of the upper realm of space, and also the object of the subsequent knowledge-acceptance of the stainless suffering and origin. The three dharmas born from the formless realm are those three minds belonging to the three realms, and the mind of the uncontaminated subsequent knowledge, which is the object of the ten that are in accordance with the direction. Secondly, the dharmas of abandonment seen in cessation and path, all the three realms, are on top of the consciousness that makes the dharmas of the three realms the object, and the object of the two inversions of oneself and the real inversion of the dharma, so it can seize the opportunity, which is the object of increase. Secondly, with what mind does one focus on the uncontaminated? The uncontaminated dharma is the mind of the three realms that has an object, the last two of the five, the real object of the abandonment seen in cessation and path, and the object of the cultivation-abandoned virtue, all uncontaminated dharmas, adding these together there are three, and the object of the knowledge-acceptance of the uncontaminated cessation and path. Secondly, the distinction between minds with subtle growth and those without is: that which makes one afflicted is the afflicted one, and it has subtlety and growth in two ways, that is, it grows through the means of association and object. And that which is abandoned by that and its associate, although it does not grow, is merely established as having. Non-afflicted minds are only established as having subtlety and growth by the growth of the abandonment that focuses on it. Because the afflictions of the lower realms do not grow when they are the object, they are not established as contaminated. Secondly, the way subtle growth arises, the order of arising
