Belonging to a part and becoming a part is like emitting and touching. In the commentary, the so-called "nature of a part" refers to the fault resulting from engaging in non-celibacy. The service and praise performed by oneself are sanghavasesa. Speaking of bad dwelling places is other. Approaching women for one's own purpose is a gross offense belonging to defeat. Combining the part and the whole, non-celibacy is the whole, and emitting, touching, and speaking of sexual intercourse, etc., are parts. Similarly, not giving is the whole, and robbing what is given, denying, driving away, and hiding, etc., are parts. Killing is the whole, and not abandoning the root of dispute, and destroying the collection of seeds and growth, etc., are parts. Speaking of superior human dharma is the whole, and falsely claiming defeat and sanghavasesa, etc., are parts. The combination of part and whole should be understood in detail from the commentary. Therefore, belonging to a part and becoming a part, such as emitting, etc., is a downfall related to a heavy offense and a similar offense that should be prohibited. Relative to non-celibacy, etc., the lighter ones such as emitting remnants belong to this category. Related to the offenses of the parts belonging to non-celibacy, etc., are their own heavy offenses such as emitting remnants. But it does not belong to the combination of different kinds of non-celibacy, nor does it belong to the similar downfall that should only be prohibited, because the whole and the actions belonging to the part arise from different intentions. If it is said that emitting semen has already been shown as emitting remnants, then what is the need to show it here? Although this is the case, it is necessary to eliminate excessive errors. In his own commentary, it is said that what this sutra does not say, it does not say at all, but it eliminates excessive errors. How to eliminate it? If emitting semen with the intention of emitting semen is a gross offense of non-celibacy, it would be too excessive, because with different forms of intention, the intention of other offenses would cause all other offenses. Therefore, that is the remnant of emitting, not the gross offense of defeat. That is the way. The previous sutra...

To explain these details, the following is explained: If ejaculation occurs within a wound with the intention of ejaculating, since this is another action, would it not constitute a saṃghāvaśeṣa offense? If ejaculation occurs with the intention of ejaculating, it will constitute a saṃghāvaśeṣa offense, except when it ultimately leads to a pārājika offense. If ejaculation occurs within an unhealed wound with the intention of ejaculating and experiencing sexual contact, it will constitute a pārājika offense. If ejaculation occurs in this way but without experiencing sexual contact, it will constitute a saṃghāvaśeṣa offense. If the wound has healed and ejaculation occurs with the intention of ejaculating, it will constitute a saṃghāvaśeṣa offense. Fifth, regarding the statement "stealing from a corpse, each taking is different," to explain the meaning of the sutra that this statement explains, the following is explained: If the ultimate goals are different, or if multiple actions or efforts are used to accomplish one ultimate goal, then the offense of the ultimate result will not be considered as one. For example, even if repeatedly digging more than half a finger's width of land through multiple small efforts, it will not constitute the offense of digging land. Also, even if bricklaying work is done on each foundation of a house, and the sum reaches the scale of a house, it will not constitute a saṃghāvaśeṣa offense. So, what happens if one continues to do the part of the work that others have already completed, such as crafts? If others have already completed половина (half) of a house or cushion, continuing to do the remaining part will constitute a nā (minor offense), that is, if continuing to make a cushion, it will constitute a duḥkṛta offense, and if continuing to make a house, it will constitute a sthūlātyaya offense. It implies that if one continues to do the part that others have completed a little, it will cause the completion of the offense. Previously, it was mentioned in the Prātimokṣa Sūtra that if accused of a pārājika offense, it will constitute a saṃghāvaśeṣa offense; if accused of a saṃghāvaśeṣa offense, it will constitute a pārājika offense. What happens if accused of other offenses? Because faults include pārājika and saṃghāvaśeṣa offenses, being accused of nā (minor offense), sthūlātyaya, prāyaścittika, pratideśanīya, and duḥkṛta offenses, the result of that part will be nā (minor offense), that is, it will constitute a duḥkṛta offense. Fourth, regarding the characteristics of perception and intention: Previously, it was mentioned that hesitation is similar to perception. So, if there is no intention of "doing this action," will it not constitute a complete offense? Regarding all precepts, such as killing, etc., if one doubts whether it is a human being and engages in actions such as killing, even if participating in it, if there is no thought of "doing it anyway,"
