In terms of the ground, driven by the affliction of jealousy, this was established by relying on exposing the faults of householders. The reason is to engage in slander. Regarding the action, there are four aspects. The basis is that the object is the Saṃgha itself, which possesses characteristics, and is the one who expels. The object of knowledge is that which possesses five terms and different lineages. The nature is to be attached to the one who is expelled. The condition is similar. The intention is to have undistorted cognition, and the motivation is to desire to slander the Saṃgha. The application is to compose with speech that possesses six characteristics. The ultimate is similar. Fourth, regarding the remainder of displeasure, the topic is: the place is Kauśāmbī. The person is one who desires to argue. Driven by the unwillingness to discuss afflictions, this precept was established by relying on not allowing the discussion of transgressions and downfalls. The reason is that by abandoning the one who discusses downfalls, the act of discussion is interrupted, and the Saṃgha is abandoned. Regarding the calculation of the limbs of the action, there are four aspects. The basis is that the limb of the object is the object to be abandoned, which is the precept of self-nature and all the Saṃgha who discuss. The object of knowledge is that the speaker possesses characteristics and is the one who speaks about himself. The nature is to be attached to the recollection of the discussion. The condition is similar to the previous one. The intention is to have undistorted cognition, and the motivation is to desire to abandon. The application is "Whether you are virtuous or not virtuous," etc., the words of abandonment possess six characteristics. The ultimate is that if one does not abandon at the end of the third statement, it will become a remainder of displeasure for the Saṃgha. Some say that if a speaking bhikṣu says, "Whether you are virtuous or sinful, do not say anything to us. Whether we are virtuous or sinful, we will not say anything to you," then in order to prevent each speaker, one should first admonish. If he does not give up, then after that, give instructions, prevent speaking, stop the Upoṣatha, and stop the Pravaraṇā. If he does not give up, then expel him severely. If the speaking Saṃgha says, "Whether you are virtuous," etc., in this way, to prevent all speakers, one should first admonish. If one does not distinguish the occasion by means of listening, then one should bind. If he does not give up, then proceed from giving instructions to stopping the Pravaraṇā. If he does not give up, then scold him.

Perform five kinds of prevention, such as exhortation. It is unreasonable to say that if you do not let go at the end of it, it will become the main practice. Whether you prevent each of the five narrators, or prevent all narrators, you should first start with the statement until the difference of prevention is established. If you do not let go of it, you should perform five kinds of prevention, such as exhortation. Because it is said in the sutra that if you do not let go at the end of it, it will become the remainder. Some scholars believe that if that is the case, there will be the fault that there will be no more unpleasant Sangha remaining. Because when the first story of downfall is told, if you say "separate", then even if you prevent it, such as abandoning exhortation, it will not be established. After preventing it in this way, according to their own point of view, the occasion is separated first, and when telling the story, five kinds of prevention are performed for preventing the occasion, such as abandoning exhortation. It is unreasonable to say that if you do not let go at the end of it, it will become an unpleasant remainder. Because when telling the story of downfall, one should say "Please correct the downfall", because it is also said in the sutra that when the Holy Shariputra said to the Six Groups "Please correct the downfall", they said "I have not seen the downfall". Also, when the Sangha puts grass and leaves into the water with living beings, it should also be said "Venerable Sangha, please correct the downfall". Therefore, like "Please correct the downfall", it is told from one aspect, and starting from the nature of the downfall, saying "Please correct the downfall" is to make everything remembered. Secondly, the precepts for the indefinite group are: living in a secluded and protected place. That is to say, the first indefinite is: the origin of the story is that when the Buddha was living in Shravasti, Kara and the bhikkhuni Sema, living in a secluded and protected place, taught the Dharma with their knees touching, and were seen by the laywoman Sakama, who thought that it would be better if these people were not seen by unbelievers, so she relied on the Buddha and established this precept. That is to say, in a secluded and protected place, bhikkhus and bhikkhunis teach the Dharma with their knees touching, and it cannot be determined whether it is a Parajika or a Sanghavasesa, so it is called indefinite, that is, within the range of one fathom. The second indefinite is: the bhikkhuni Shirisha and the two bhikkhus who have received full ordination, in a secluded and protected place, separated by a distance of one fathom.
