The four defeats are: engaging in impure conduct, taking what is not given, taking life, and speaking falsely. The first has two meanings: a common meaning and a meaning applied to the text. The first, in five volumes, explains the meaning of the beginning, the establishment of precepts, and the establishment of transgressions. Among these, the beginning is divided into four types according to the differences in place, person, affliction, and basis of offense. The establishment of precepts is the five categories of transgressions that contradict the world and contradict discipline, and prevent them. The establishment of transgressions is the establishment of the main practice, the application, and the application of the application through the door of intention and action. The meaning of what is said is threefold: the beginning of taking vows, the reason for establishing what is prescribed and what is prohibited, and the calculation of the causes, conditions, and limbs of transgressions. The first is that thirteen years after the Teacher attained complete enlightenment, Good Giving engaged in impure conduct with his former wife. The Lord of Dharma saw the ten benefits of establishing precepts. In the place of Shravasti, the person Good Giving was motivated by the affliction of desire, and based on the offense of engaging in impure conduct, he established this training to prevent impure conduct. Secondly, the reason for establishing what is prescribed and what is prohibited has two types of faults: visible faults and invisible faults. The first is that in this life, it becomes an obstacle to body, life, celibacy, the conduct of a renunciate, enjoyment, and merit, and causes others to disbelieve, etc. The invisible faults are that the ten paths of unwholesome actions all produce three fruits, as the Abhidharmakosha says: "All master fruits are equal flow fruits, and the ripening fruit can also be produced." Thus, the ripening fruit of impure conduct, according to its large, medium, and small types, is born in hell, hungry ghosts, and animals in order. There are two types of equal flow fruits, among which the experienced equal flow fruit is that the body is ugly and the wife becomes an enemy, etc. The creative equal flow fruit is the habit of liking to engage in impure conduct there as well.

Becoming endowed with... The fruit of the owner is produced in places, directions, accumulations of dust, etc. Third, regarding the limbs, the common limbs are those that exist up to the point where the Bhikshu vows can be restored, the knowledge abiding in its own nature, not being a beginner in action, these are applied to all. There are four uncommon limbs: the limb of the basis, the limb of intention, the limb of application, and the limb of the ultimate. First, there are two: the limb of what is to be done and the limb of relying on what is done. The first is: a human and a non-human, a man and a woman, a hermaphrodite, and any of one's own or another's body up to half standing, any of the three wound-doors that are not damaged and can be entered. The second is: a jewel belonging to one's own continuum that is without disease and can be used. The intention is to want to experience the bliss of knowledge. The application is touching and engaging in effort. The ultimate is that when experiencing the bliss of that touch, it becomes the basis for the defeat of engaging in impure conduct. For a novice monk, it is a transgression similar to defeat. Some who think that not being confused here is correct are mistaken. Second, applying the meaning of the text is: if one does what, does it become a defeat here? If one does insertion, touching, and experiencing. Semen. There. Undamaged. In the mouth or the path of excretion. For those that are damaged, it is a gross offense. For what is not suitable, it is a lower offense. Thus it is said, the characteristics of the limbs and the two exclusions. The first is: if the sound of "insertion" is proven to be the agent, then because it inserts, it is insertion, i.e., male semen. If the sound of "insertion" is proven to be the place, then because it is to be inserted there, it is insertion, i.e., the three wound-doors. First, explaining in connection with proving the place, what is to be inserted is any of the Bhikshu's own two wound-doors or another's three doors, the Bhikshu himself inserts semen, if the Bhikshu himself experiences the bliss of the touch of what is to be inserted, then that Bhikshu will become defeated, if in connection with proving the sound of "insertion" to be the agent, what inserts into any of the three, such as the Bhikshuni's wound-door, is male semen, if the Bhikshuni experiences the bliss of that touch, then the Bhikshuni
