The object with aspects is the self-awareness that appears as the apprehended object. The appearance of grasping it is valid cognition. The nature of self-awareness is considered the result, therefore, the object and the result of valid cognition are considered to be the same in time and essence, like experiencing happiness and suffering. False appearances are the imputed objects that appear as real. The knowledge that grasps it is valid cognition. The nominal self-awareness is considered the result, therefore, the object and the result of valid cognition are considered to be the negation of oneness, like the appearance of hair, etc. Thus, among the four tenets, the teacher acts like a Sautrāntika when admitting external objects. When the knowable enters the mind, he promises non-appearance. In either case, ultimately, self-awareness is the result of valid cognition. As it is said in the Pramāṇavārttika, "When examining one's own nature, it is said that self-awareness is the result." Therefore. In conventional truth, like the Sautrāntikas, object-awareness is the result of valid cognition. Because it is the nature of the establishment of the object. Although it is self-awareness, it is also considered object-awareness. In any case, it is a dualistic way of thinking. Even according to the view of object-awareness, it is said that "two ways are expressed based on external objects." Therefore, the knowledge of objects and the knowledge of mind are two ways. According to the view of consciousness-awareness, "it does not depend on external objects. Therefore, one has two ways." It is said that one mind is defiled by ignorance, therefore it is two ways of object and knowledge. We also follow this way of Dharmakīrti. Most Tibetans follow the Sarvāstivādins, but this is only because they do not understand the reasoning of the power of things joining. Second, it is divided into two. First, the view of the object-awareness school is: taking the exclusion of others as the self-characteristic of fire is the object to be measured. The mind that realizes the exclusion of others of fire, which arises from the sign of smoke, is valid cognition, because it is the cause of making distinctions. The name of the subsequent inference that realizes the self-characteristic of fire from the sign of smoke is the result, because it is the result to be established. The wise ones think so. Second, the view of the consciousness-awareness school is: some Śrāvakas say that the result-sign does not exist. Some say that when smoke is seen, if there is fire behind the mountain, it will become an inanimate object because it is an object without knowledge. If there is no fire, knowing from the sign will become inverted knowledge. If there is no fire now, but in the knowledge that appears as smoke, later when someone comes, it appears as fire.

The arising of appearance is because smoke is the cause and fire is the result, so it is impossible for cause and effect to be reversed. So, if it is said that there is no measured result for the result-sign of the Mind-Only School, then, that moment with the essence of the habit of appearing as fire, is related to the subsequent moment that has completely transformed, and from this arises the fruit of the habit of appearing as smoke, which is the mind of appearing as smoke, therefore, the subject that appears as the basis of having smoke. It exists as appearing as fire, because it exists as appearing as smoke, because that sign does not deceive people in name, therefore, the wisdom based on that sign is inference, so scholars think. On this, with the wisdom of appearing as smoke, etc., nine verses were spoken. Thus, the commentary on the ninth chapter of the examination of direct perception from the Treasury of Valid Cognition has been explained. Secondly, if inference is explained, there are two types of inference: self-benefit and other-benefit. The first has two aspects: definition and determining its nature. The first is: self-benefit inference is the mind of attachment that sees the object to be proven from a sign that possesses the three modes. The second has two aspects: the sign by which it is realized, and the object to be proven that is realized by it. The first has: identifying the basis of dependence of the sign, and the detailed classification of the sign based on that. The first has: the basis of dependence of the first mode - the subject, the basis of dependence of following and reversing - similar and dissimilar classes, and the rationality of placing them as the basis of dependence. The first has: generally thinking about the meaning of the word inference, and determining the difference in meaning related to the current situation. The first has: identifying the object to which the word inference refers, determining the occasion to which it refers, and the definition of the word of how it refers. The first is: in the treatises of logicians, the subject, the object to be proven, and the object to be inferred that appear are synonyms. There are also three objects to which it refers, and the words that refer to them are the real names of the collection of dharma and dharmin, because the subject, etc., have definitions. It is nominally referred to the two parts, dharma and dharmin, because those parts of the collection have been included, in short, the sutra says: the object to be proven of the sign is the collection itself. It does not refer to anything other than these three, because fame is a valid cognition for the determination of the meaning of words. The second is: so, the subject,
