Ra. In order to establish the meaning-reverse that eliminates contradictions. Second, regarding the establishment of the required definition, there are two: refutation of other systems and establishment of one's own system. First, some translators and others say that the definition of a definition is the reason for the establishment of the expressible, which is not reasonable, because in that case, "what is to be proven is understood" is also the same as the definition of reason. Some Dharmakirti followers believe that the three qualities are complete, black, and the meaning-reverse of the expressible is established on the basis. These two are not reasonable because the understanding of the definition depends on the understanding of the expressible. Second, the meaning-reverse that distinguishes contradictions is established, because after cutting off the reverse of the expressible and the defined, the meaning-reverse of what is desired is established. Third, regarding the classification of the faults to be eliminated, there are three: refutation, establishment, and abandonment. First, if the faults of that definition are summarized, there are three: the self-reverse substance is not established, the meaning-reverse is transformed into another, and it does not reside on the defined basis. First, any definition that is not independently established from its own term. The classification includes two types: in the definition of a cow, the cow itself is its own term, and like its head, it is distinguished by its own term and established as a definition. Second, although it is independently established from its own term, it is not the meaning-reverse of the expressible there. The classification includes: impossible, not pervasive, too pervasive, and equally pervasive. The third definition, any definition that is independently established from its own term, but is not established on the basis of what is to be expressed as it should be established. The classification includes: after contradiction, after no difference in reverse, after no difference in meaning-reverse, and not residing after not pervading one aspect of the defined basis, which are recognized by the later logicians of the Northern School. For this refutation, there are two: unreasonable and not the intention of the scriptures. First, if these combinations are established and then faults are pointed out, then the meaning-reverse of the definition from the expressible will be transformed into another, and it will become without fault, because by abandoning the Dharma to be established, when emptiness is expressed as a negation, the meaning-reverse will become another, because that is impossible in the term of negation. The sign is clearly admitted. If the definition of the expressible has the meaning of possible and impossible, the defined basis has possible and impossible

If it is said that it can be expressed in reason, but it is not considered whether or not it depends on the contradiction of the signifier itself, because it is neither necessary nor beneficial to do so. Then, even if it is considered that the contradiction of meaning is other, it will become non-abiding on the established subject, because from where it does not exist, the other fault of the contradiction of meaning is also established on where the established subject does not exist. If the fault is calculated from not stating the argument, then considering not abiding on the established subject as a fault becomes meaningless, because the definition of non-affirming negation is that abandoning the statement of the established dharma is without fault. If it is said that it depends on the way of establishing the established subject, if it is established like emptiness, there is no fault, and if it is established like knowable, there is fault, then considering not stating the argument as a fault disappears, because it is necessary to observe whether there is fault in stating all three dharmas. For the fault of the signifier, whether or not it is stated on the established subject, it can be calculated on the signifier, and for the fault of the established subject, whether or not it has the dharma to be explained, it can be calculated by stating it on the established subject, so there is no fault. This is not reasonable, if it is calculated on the established subject, then not stating it is contradictory, and if it is stated, it is contradictory to not being the fault of the established subject. Moreover, the way of calculating the fault of the established subject is also unreasonable, for example, if a horse is compared to an ox, even if it is stated that the self-character and the opposite are not real objects, it will become non-abiding on the established subject. If it is admitted, all faults are included in not abiding on the established subject, then the two faults are meaningless. Second, these three are unreasonable as faults of definition, if they are reasonable, then why not consider the two ornaments of scholars as faults? Because it must be considered in this way, but it is not said in the Compendium and the Seven Treatises. Second, one's own view is that: non-pervasion, over-pervasion, and impossibility are the common faults of all definitions. These three are all included here, the previous three such as self-character and opposite not being real objects, all the parts that are faults are included in these three, there is no other, just as the definition has three distinctions from the perspective of meaning, from the perspective of the expressing words and the object to be distinguished by meaning, all the ways of distinguishing are included in distinguishing non-pervasion etc. three, there is no other way of distinguishing other than these three, as it is said in the sutra: the words and phrases of the dharma are different etc. The three distinctions successively distinguish the words of non-pervasion etc. three.
