If one considers that merely being distinct from other dharmas is contradictory, then the distinct entities such as fire and smoke, the relations such as being produced and impermanent, and the distinct differences such as being able to speak and being omniscient, would all become contradictory, because they are mutually distinct. If you accept this, then all assertions of contradiction implying negation and relation implying establishment will be destroyed. The second case is: are distinct entities like fire and smoke, or distinct differences like being produced, related? Or are both entity and difference distinct, like blue and yellow, and thus unrelated? It prevents mutually possessing differences and being the same essence, and this itself is due to the power of contradiction, so is there something that is both contradictory and related? If so, when preventing a flower from being both blue and yellow, the sign of not being able to perceive the possibility of yellow appearing becomes ineffective, because it is necessary to prevent it by determining that everything is blue, which is contradictory. The third case is: in some dialectical situations, the stated differences such as blue and yellow are said to be mutually contradictory, but this is merely a nominal assertion, not a characteristic, just as a horse and a related ox are established as related when they are together. Secondly, regarding one's own system: the establishment of the assertion of one and different, the way of establishing contradiction and relation on different things, and the explanation of mutual exclusion itself. The first point is: through being produced by different causes and non-different causes, and through the distinction of different aspects and non-different aspects appearing as one in consciousness, the distinct and non-distinct entities of inner consciousness as one entity, and the distinct and non-distinct differences of external objects and non-objects as one are asserted, respectively. The second point is: if these differences benefit each other, they are related to each other; if they harm each other, they are contradictory to each other; if neither, they are merely established as different. The third has three points: first, direct contradiction is: preventing non-self is the definition of non-self and direct contradiction, such as permanent and impermanent. Second, indirect contradiction distinguished by it is: preventing the pervader of non-self is the definition of indirect contradiction. For example, being produced and permanent. Some say about this: fire, for example, as the subject. Water is the pervader of your non-existence, because you and it are indirectly contradictory. The pervasion is accepted. Therefore, saying that indirect contradiction prevents the pervader of non-self is wrong. Because in this system, fire and cold touch are not indirectly contradictory.

, and it becomes mutually contradictory with it. If admitted, then either of the two becomes non-existent, because of admitting it. Three wheels of Dharma. Furthermore, that subject of dharma becomes an obstacle to non-water, because it is indirectly contradictory to water. If the pervasion is as you say, then it is a real contradiction in meaning. Therefore, your intention is: obstructing the impermanent which is not its own nature, the pervasive of the unmade, the permanent, so don't be stingy with good explanations. Third, the refutation of the argument is: since one of blue and yellow etc. is established, the other is not refuted, because the two are neither real contradictions nor indirect contradictions. The two are mutually exclusive, but not mutually contradictory in exclusion. Exclusion, being allowable to appear or being, is refuted by the non-observation of what is allowable to appear. Contradictory exclusion is to obstruct by the combination of contradictory observation in a place where the object to be refuted is not allowed to appear. Second, the summary explanation is: mutually contradictory exclusion is to abide in the non-existence of any one of the contradictory objects or attributes, so it must be the otherness that excludes oneness. The sound is permanent, because it is obstructed by the impermanent which is pervasive of that which is not it. Mutually exclusive objects, such as blue and yellow, are allowed to appear as one or the other, but are refuted because they are not observed. This is called the concluding verse. The seventh chapter on the investigation of contradictions from the Treasury of Logic is completed. Second, to ascertain the nature of valid cognition as the means of knowing, there are two: the classification of characteristics, and the determination of the meaning of each characteristic. First, in general, the nature of the three: characteristic, object characterized, and basis; in particular, to ascertain the characteristic of valid cognition; and to determine the meaning characterized by the characteristic. First, to prove that knowable things are pervaded by three properties, to ascertain the nature of the three pervasive properties, and the classification of each of the three properties. The first is: all knowable things are pervaded by the three properties called characteristic, object characterized, and basis, because when any aspect of a knowable thing appears in the mind, it has an appearance that is different from others, and for that itself, it can be apprehended without mistaken words and concepts, and it also appears together with a basis. For that reason, the classification of those three properties should be explained. Second, there are three: recognizing the essence, the rationality of establishing it there, and the individual characteristics. The first is: the characteristic is understood by this
