Thirdly, introducing the meaning of empowerment. In the Root Tantra of the Guhyasamaja it says: "Whatever appears as things, the main deity is the supreme deity of oneself. All dharmas are naturally without impurity. One should view it as the wisdom of the Buddha." This very statement is explained by Shantipa and in the commentaries of Krishnacharya's Vajra Commitment as a special characteristic of the name empowerment. Otherwise, all Indian and Tibetan scholars consider it as an introduction to all five kinds of lineage empowerments. Among them, "Whatever appears as things" refers to the five skandhas and the five afflictions. "The main deity is the supreme deity of oneself" means that one should understand it as the essence of the five Tathagata families. If one thinks that one should understand something that is not the five families as the five families, that is not the case. Because all dharmas of the dharmata are naturally without impurity and completely pure as the essence of the five families. However, because it is obscured by sudden stains and cannot be seen, it is revealed by the ritual of the teacher, so when practicing the path, one should make it manifest by viewing it as the wisdom of the Buddha. Here, Shantipa says: "Whatever appears separately is all one's own things, and everything is the wealth of the mind." This is a summary statement. And: "Whatever is mind is self, and knowing is mind, and there is nothing that appears apart from knowing." Therefore, you are the gentle Vajra. Below, when explaining the suchness of the deity, one should thoroughly practice the nature of the mind, so that the illusions of form and so on are completely purified and liberated from them. Whatever has this characteristic, such as the skandha of form, is the suchness of the deities. Completely fabricated skandhas, or contaminated skandhas, are not the suchness of the deity. This purity is also inseparable from the mind. Therefore, the mind itself is the nature of the deities such as the five skandhas. Although this is said under the influence of the Shentong view, it is feared that it will contradict one's own commitments. Do completely fabricated and contaminated forms and so on appear in the mind or not? If they do not appear, then the mind only has the parinishpanna nature.

Therefore, due to appearance, it is impossible for the nature of mind itself to be mistaken. If it appears to the mind, is it different from the mind or not? If it is the former, then it contradicts the assertion that there is not even the slightest dharma that is different from the mind. If it is not different, then the mind itself is accepted as having the nature of the aggregates and other deities. Therefore, the aggregates that are completely conceptualized and those with defilements are also not different from the mind. Since this is the case, why is the mind itself not the same as the nature of the aggregates and other deities? Even if one is like the second omniscient great scholar of India, yogis, due to differences in intelligence, when harmed by higher views, this happens, so distinguishing tenets is very important. Furthermore, why is Akshobhya considered the empowerment of water? Akshobhya is the mind, the completely pure Vajra of Mind (Tibetan: ཐུགས་རྡོ་རྗེ།), which purifies the mind's impurities, and this is similar to water washing away dirt. Why is Ratnasambhava considered the empowerment of the crest jewel? Ratnasambhava is also a part of the Buddha's qualities, and the main quality of the Tathagatas is to fulfill the wishes of those to be tamed, and through crest jewels such as precious gems, the wishes of most of those to be tamed are fulfilled. Why is Amitabha considered the empowerment of the vajra? The completely pure speech of all the Tathagatas is Amitabha, and when that speech teaches the Dharma to those to be tamed, the Dharma to be taught has twelve branches of scripture, which are summarized into nine limbs, and the teaching of these nine limbs is symbolized by the nine-pointed vajra. As it says in the Vajra Tent Tantra: "The great nine-pointed vajra, bestow it on his right hand." And in the Two Sections of the Mandala Ritual it also says: "Bestow the nine-pointed vajra." The teacher Lhai Rigs Kyi Lodro (Tibetan: ལྷའི་རིགས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས།) here says that the nine-pointed vajra refers to the five-pointed vajra, that is, four claws each above and below, totaling eight, and one naturally occurring claw in the center, so it is nine. The teacher Kunga Nyingpo (Tibetan: ཀུན་དགའ་སྙིང་པོ།) in the commentary on the Buddha Equal Union Tantra, explains this with supporting arguments. But if it is said that the five-pointed vajra also contains the meaning of nine points here, then the nine-pointed
