That is, the arrangement of footsteps. As it is also said in the "Jewel Flame Sutra." Among them, there are three kinds of peaceful gaits. Walking in the ocean is to rotate the hands in a dance, and the two feet alternately rotate from the front and walk while swaying. Lifting the mountain is when the left foot sways forward, the hands follow the rotation of the dance, making a gesture of lifting the mountain to the right. When the right foot moves, make the gesture to the left, alternating. The beautiful step is to sway the foot moving forward from the front, and the foot that does not move is placed on the thigh, walking like the step of a domestic pigeon. The wrathful step is when the left foot stomps forward, the right hand holds the vajra and stretches out, and the left hand rings the bell at the heart. When the right foot stomps forward, the right hand holds the vajra at the heart, and the left hand holds the bell and stretches out and rings it, walking alternately. For these four steps, one short (ཧུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) should be recited for each. Then comes the empowerment. Various footstep arrangements should be made. The details can be learned from the "Vajra Tent" and the mandala rituals. As for the meaning of what was said, generally speaking, walk in a way that joy pervades. In each direction, there are three dance postures, three practices, and three withdrawals, making a total of nine. When practicing the eight footsteps, stay in one mudra and look to the right, left, and center. For the first five postures, each mudra should also be established three times. The posture of holding a spear in the center is the same as this. The postures in the four directions are three each, and the offerings in the four intermediate directions are three each, which means that each mudra is formed separately during practice. For footsteps below sixteen postures, the center and the four intermediate directions are the same, and the four directions are the basic footsteps such as right extension. When making a posture, the foot that goes first circles from the front and places it in front of the other foot, with the toe pointing outward. Then the other foot circles from the front and assumes the posture of that footstep. Then the previous foot circles from the front and stays in that footstep. Like this, there are three postures, three practices, and for the first two withdrawals, the roaring sound of (ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūm̐, Literal meaning: Hum) with a long sound is recited. For the last withdrawal, recite the short (ཧུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum).

Oh! When collecting, first collect the first one that goes ahead and leave it in its original place. Then bring the other one around from the front and place it in its original place. Again, bring the previous one around from the front and place it in its original place. Now, let's explain the nature of each one: Right extension is the right extension with the five fingers of the right leading foot fully extended, the two hands back to back, the two index fingers and little fingers connected, and the face with an angry expression. Left extension is the left extension with the five fingers of the left leading foot fully extended, the mudra is the same as before, raising the index finger, and the face with an angry expression. Saga is the two feet of the left leading foot slightly apart, with a distance of one cubit and two fingers, the knees straight, the right hand holding a vajra (藏文:རྡོ་རྗེ།,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:vajra) at the heart, and the left hand holding a bell (藏文:དྲིལ་བུ།,梵文天城体:घण्टा,梵文罗马拟音:ghaṇṭā,汉语字面意思:bell) at the waist, with a peaceful expression. Round is the feet of the right leading foot apart, with a distance of more than one cubit between the two knees, like the wings of a swan, the two hands dancing in all directions, and the face with a frightened expression. Vajra is the heel of the right foot of the right leading foot placed on the sole of the left foot, and the mudra is the same as Saga. Equal is the two feet of the right leading foot together and straight, and the two hands holding a vajra and bell at the waist. Here, although the two mandala rituals of Ḍoṃbī, Shar pa rdo rje, and the equal footwork of light are explained first, the vajra footwork first appears in Gur and Gur rgyan, so that is followed. Turtle is the right leading foot with the sole of the right foot placed on the ankle of the left foot, and the two hands bent at shoulder height. Bee is the left leading foot with the sole of the right foot placed on the left thigh, the two hands with palms facing up, and a charming face. Vajra is the left hand making a threatening gesture at the heart, and the right hand raising a vajra. Wheel is the two vajra fists at the heart facing up, the little fingers and index fingers connected to each other, like turning a wheel, raised upwards to the right. Jewel is the jewel mudra, the two fists joined together, the two middle fingers raised, the thumb and index finger joined together, placed on the forehead. Lotus is the palms together, like a lotus flower opening. Sword
