Initially, it is the Vajradhara of the cause. During the first two vows, it is the Vajradhara of the result. In the later vows, it becomes the Vajradhara of the cause again, which is quite excessive. To bestow the three vows upon that basis, there are two methods: the concise method of the oral tradition and the extensive method of the Dombi tradition. The first is: Taking the vajra in hand, visualize the complete twenty-eight deities of the vajra's suchness arising from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), and then hand it to the disciple's right hand with verses and mantras such as "This is it." Have the disciple hold the vajra at their heart, and introduce the vajra's suchness with words such as "Without beginning or end." Its meaning is: This vajra is the Dharmadhatu Tathagatagarbha, free from all elaborations, and is the nature of indivisible awareness and emptiness. It is of one taste with that (Dharmadhatu) which is without birth or cessation, and the mind and mental factors are without difference. With great compassion, it arises with a nature that is in accordance with sentient beings, is Samantabhadra, is the master of all five families, is the purity of the realm, and is called the master of the awareness goddess. This is what Jetsun Tsemö said. Then, taking the bell, visualize the complete twenty-three deities arising from the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), and then hand it to the disciple's left hand with words such as "This is." Have them hold it at their waist, and proclaim its suchness with one verse such as "A, existence is pure by nature." Its meaning is: Hey, this bell is the sound of the Dharmadhatu, free from all elaborations. It is that all phenomena are naturally pure, unborn in essence, and thus it is naturally liberated. Thus it is proclaimed. Then, have the disciple visualize themselves as glorious Vajrasattva, with a white body, eight faces, and sixteen arms, holding implements like Akshobhya, or with the right eight hands holding vajras and the left eight hands holding bells with vajra handles. If that is not possible, visualize one face and two arms, with the right hand holding a vajra and the left hand holding a bell, embracing the consort Vajra Garvi, who holds a curved knife and skull cup, like a sixteen-year-old girl. This is the meaning of the mudra body vow, citing "Wisdom is sixteen years old" and other words as evidence.

Therefore, (the guru) said, "Remember it in this way," which is for instruction. Again, reciting the verse "The vajra is large, the bell is large," etc., concisely expresses the Suchness and the subsequent permission, and then makes the student clasp their hands together. To elaborate on the Suchness of the mudra, recite "The happiness of existence is very small," etc. Its meaning is that the happiness of existence seems to be happiness to ordinary beings, but in reality, happiness is very small and suffering is great, because it includes the latter two sufferings. To purify it, there are two methods: one is to purify by abandoning the base through the method of the Paramitas; the other is to purify by not abandoning the base through the method of the Vajrayana. Here, it is the latter, that is, the vow to contemplate the great Vajradhara in union, which has become the supreme means of great bliss, should be constantly generated. What will happen then? All appearing realms will be transformed into the abode of the deity. Therefore, while enjoying all desired enjoyments as desired, one should offer to oneself and the great Vajradhara through the yoga of knowing oneself and others as the supreme deity. In this way, the deity enjoys the deity, and one can quickly complete the accumulation of merit, and thus one will not deviate from obtaining the great Vajradhara in union. Then, is it permissible to contemplate the union body? Transforming one's own mind into an empty consort and engaging with her is something that all the Tathagatas will not transgress, and therefore it is proclaimed as the mudra vow. This is the above content. The second part is, in both mandala rituals of the Dombi tradition: Recite "Nearby hang banners, etc., on the ground play songs, music, drums, etc., raise umbrellas and banners, etc., abide, and say these to the student: For the precious great empowerment, all three realms prostrate, the source of all Buddhas' body, speech, and mind, will be bestowed. The vase empowerment is the first, the second is the secret empowerment, the third is wisdom-jnana, the fourth is the Tathagata empowerment. Everything with the ritual of means, everything is offered with supreme offerings." Thus it is said. The first verse indicates that the student is placed on the empowerment seat, and the offerings are arranged. Then, beginning with one verse.
