The words that show the aggregates, realms, and sources of the earth, as well as the saying "hatred, etc.," and the saying "aggregates," and in the Gurukula Tantra, the saying "only Dharma," and in the Guhyasamaja Tantra, the saying "the five aggregates are," etc., are what is shown. These are also conventionally true, but in the ultimate sense, there is nothing to be purified. Maitreya said in the Sixth Limb, "The form aggregate is not vajra," and after saying six lines, he concluded, "In the ultimate sense, there are no aggregates." Therefore, it is said. The second is to grasp these appearances as true, or to cut off the imputation of grasping at truth and grasp them as mere designations. In either case, without knowing the nature of the deity, one thinks, "This is form," "This is feeling," etc. All the thoughts that grasp appearances independently are the cause of being bound in samsara, so they are called bondage. Because one separates the hairs of objects and clings to them manifestly, they are called conceptual thoughts. In the common case, grasping at truth is a klesha obscuration, and this is established as a jnana obscuration, so it is called a jnana obscuration. Whatever causes nirvana to die is called poison. Because one thinks about things only, it is called the thought of things. Because one grasps at the ordinary, it is called the state of ordinary beings, and it is shown by many terms such as the measure of impurity. These are also easily understood as shown by the previous scriptures, such as "the bondage of things." If the conceptual thought itself is not to be purified, then it contradicts the acceptance of the Dharma of aggregates, realms, and sources. If it is, then it contradicts what is said to be purified. If you think like this, on another basis, the conceptual thought itself is to be purified, but when one thinks of it as ordinary, the conceptual thought of the object is the basis to be purified, and the conceptual thought of the subject is considered to be purified, so there is no contradiction. The third is the three doors of liberation, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the five wisdoms, etc., the qualities of the Dharmakaya, and the mandala deities who are complete with the five families, the four mothers, etc., the Rupakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya, are the purifiers. As in the previous scriptures, the object of "things become meditation," and "because of purity," and "not vajra," etc., are the words that show the deity, and in the Gurukula Tantra, "the image of the Tathagata," and "the object of the Victorious One," and in the Guhyasamaja Tantra, "praised among the five Buddhas," etc.
