Furthermore, in the center of the eight-petaled Dharma wheel is Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:吽), the Dharma seal. In the center of the sixteen-petaled enjoyment wheel at the throat, which is red and faces upward, is a red Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城體:ओं,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,漢語字面意思:嗡), which is the great seal. In the center of the thirty-two-petaled great bliss wheel at the crown, which is white and faces downward, is Haṃ (藏文:ཧྃ,梵文天城體:हं,梵文羅馬擬音:haṃ,漢語字面意思:杭), which should be regarded as the commitment seal. Moreover, by the stream of empowerment filling up to the heart, one obtains the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge. With the mind purifying the path of defilements, one has the power to meditate on the mandala wheel. From this, one generates clairvoyance, merely remembering past births and the blessings of body, speech, and mind. Then, that stream of empowerment fills from the secret place up to the soles of the feet. By completely filling the entire body without exception, one obtains the empowerment of the fourth supreme great bliss. The defilements of body, speech, and mind are purified and made firm. Thus, with the empowerment complete and the path complete, it should be sealed by the lord of the lineage. These, later tantric order masters, say that taking the four empowerments from one stream of water is not taught in any Indian texts, so it is not pure, which is very unreasonable. The great accomplished one, Padmasambhava, said: "In this way, how is the order? Obtaining the four moments of various aspects, maturation, purification, and being free from characteristics. And manifesting the four kinds of joy: joy, supreme joy, joy beyond joy, and innate joy. And purifying the four: smiling, gazing, embracing, and the two twos. These are the four empowerments to be received: the master, the secret, the wisdom, and the ultimate of supreme great bliss. After the empowerment, the lord of one's own lineage seals it on the crown." Thus, here it is clearly stated that the four empowerments are received. What is the essence of the empowerment received in this text? It is the master and so on. What defilements does it purify? It is smiling and so on. What experiences does it generate? It is joy and so on. When does it arise? It is various aspects and so on. The lower tantras explain it in order. Acharya Anandavajra also explained similarly to this meaning in the sadhana of the nine deities of the body vajra. The fourth is

From the Root Tantra: After empowerment, the crown of the head is ruled by one's own lineage. The meaning of this is, as Jetsun Rinpoche said: Generally, the path of Vajrayana and all fruits can be symbolized by mudras, and since they are symbolized on the basis of the generation stage, they can symbolize all paths. There are five of these: the nature-of-being mudra on the nature of being, the mind mudra on the body, the body mudra on the mind, the fruit mudra on the cause, and the cause mudra on the fruit. The first is: all dharmas are naturally completely pure, and knowing them to be naturally completely pure is the nature-of-being mudra on the nature of being. From the Samputa: "Desire is purified by desire itself, hatred is purified by hatred itself, ignorance is purified by ignorance itself, all are completely pure, Vajradhara is the protector." And also from the Supreme One: "The place where desire is completely purified is the place of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva." And so on, it is said. And also in this very text: "The essence is formless, the seer." And so on, that is its meaning. The way to symbolize it is that the main deity and the inner yoginis, and above and below, wearing the headdress of one's own lineage, symbolize the nature of being. The mind mudra on the body is: understanding that all dharmas, encompassed by outer and inner, exist nowhere other than in one's own mind. This is to be understood as such. What symbolizes it is: Pukkasi completely pure, and Gauri, form and the aggregates of form completely pure, with the essence of Akshobhya sealing the essence of Vairochana, this symbolizes it. That is also what is said in the Vajra Tent: "Apart from the precious mind, there is no Buddha and no person, no meaning of the place of consciousness, there is nothing external." Thus it is said. And in the Noble Ten Bhumi Sutra it says: "O sons of the Victorious Ones, these three realms are only mind." The body mudra on the mind is: the protective wheel and the palace, etc., the body, and all the transformations of outer matter, all are done by the mind, it is the mind transforming into the body. What symbolizes it is: Shavari, the water completely pure, and Chauri, the sound and feeling completely pure, these two appearing as Vairochana on the mind of the essence of Akshobhya.
