The body. Actions are produced by many causes, and those who do not understand should not do them. This is the vajra commitment of the body. The sufferings of various sentient beings are all caused by the conceptualizations of the net of discursive thoughts. One should not despise their minds. This is the vajra commitment of the mind. Because of jealousy and dissatisfaction, one should not speak harsh words, etc. One should speak pleasing words. This is the vajra commitment of speech. As it is said, to speak arbitrarily without having seen this is meaningless. Therefore, if all commitments are summarized, they are the three commitments of body, speech, and mind, or they are summarized into two types: root commitments and branch commitments. The meaning of confessing the violation of these commitments is that both the words and the meaning are established without error. Sins are the sins of afflictions, obscurations are the obscurations of knowledge, faults are the faults of nature, downfalls are the downfalls of precepts, and stains are the six stains, such as the stains of places. May these be purified. Then, at the end of the session of the venerable one, visualize Vajrasattva and his consort dissolving into oneself, and one's body becoming like a rainbow. As it is said, one should do as such. The third is that by purifying all the subtle faults and downfalls of one's three vows through the three common preliminaries, purifying the three vows has immeasurable benefits. As the teacher Jampal Drakpa said: The three vows should be carefully examined in the ritual. Thus, the mantra practitioner who possesses the Dharma will have no doubt about accomplishment. He praises the teacher, the Buddha, etc., and is revered by all the gods and the world. As it is said. The second has three: accumulating merit, accumulating wisdom, and meditating on the protective wheel. The first has three: accumulating merit by relying on pure places, accumulating merit by relying on impure places, and incidentally explaining the necessity of these. The first has four: inviting the field of merit for accumulating merit, making offerings to the invited field of merit, performing daily confession in front of it, and requesting permission. The first is, the venerable Tsemö said that one should instantly visualize oneself as Hevajra (kyai rdo rje, Glorious Heruka), how to clarify it? Some people want to visualize the body as vajra, with one face and two arms, but there is no scriptural authority as a basis of knowledge. Therefore, one must generate the pride of the main deity of the mandala to be visualized, that is, eight faces and ten

Or meditate on a single face and two arms. During breaks between sessions, gather the remaining faces and arms into the root face and arms, and visualize any form with one face and two arms. The need to visualize the deity in this way is to reverse ordinary conceptual thoughts, protect against interfering obstacles and demons, and accumulate merit quickly by the deity accumulating merit for the deity. In its heart, according to the six-limbed yoga, visualize a lotus arising from the letter BAM (བྃ་), and a sun arising from the letter RAM (རྃ་); or according to the four-limbed yoga, on top of the sun arising from the letter RAM (རྃ་), visualize your own mind, its nature free from grasping and being grasped, as the blue letter HUM (ཧཱུྃ, Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hum). Although the color of the lotus is not mentioned in other treatises, Marmemé Zé (མར་མེ་མཛད།) said that it is good to visualize it as red, because it symbolizes the power of gathering the deity into oneself. How does the letter HUM (ཧཱུྃ, Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hum) transform into a mind free from grasping and being grasped? From the sound of the letter "Ha," "Draha Ga" is the grasper, "Draha Tsa" is the grasped. Adding "Sha" as a phonetic modification to the "U" at the foot becomes "Shunyata," meaning emptiness. The "Ma" on top is "Mano," meaning mind. Thus, it becomes "the mind that is empty of grasping and being grasped." From that, five colors of light radiate, which is the view of Jetsun Kunrong and Tsoché (མཚོ་སྐྱེས།). Nakpopa (ནག་པོ་པ།) said that the light is in the shape of an iron hook. When that light emanates from the right nostril during exhalation, invite the mandala of the field of merit. Here, there are two ways: visualizing the field of merit in front with light, and inviting from elsewhere. Sachén father and son (ས་ཆེན་ཡབ་སྲས།) first spoke of the former in the context of Tsoché (མཚོ་སྐྱེས།), but in the context of the oral tradition, the latter two are clear. Among them, Jetsun Tsemé (རྗེ་བཙུན་རྩེ་མོ།) said to invite the mandala of the nine deities and visualize the guru and the deity as inseparable. Jetsun (རྗེ་བཙུན།) said to invite the guru and others above the mandala of the nine deities, which should be applied separately in the context of the four or six-limbed yoga. The method of invitation is to perform it with the mantra and mudra of the vajra binding. Regarding this, the Gurtrél (གུར་འགྲེལ།) says: "With the combination of vajra and bell." This means that the hands are placed in the vajra binding mudra at the shoulders, reciting "Om Vajra Samaja (ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ, Devanagari: ॐ वज्रसमा ज, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajrasamāja, literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Assembly)," bending the two index fingers into the shape of iron hooks, and joining the thumb and middle finger into a bell and vajra. Thus it is said. The second is, before offering, prostrating in the Indian manner.
