Actions. In general, if you want to understand the classification of wind, you need to understand it in five ways: In general, what is the nature of the so-called "wind" itself; the various classifications of wind; actions; the way wind moves; and how it changes when used as a path. First, the nature of wind is the wind that belongs to the great elements, but that is not an external element, but an internal element. It is the root of all kinds of actions. As it says: "It is called the wind of the protector. Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, literal Chinese meaning: Ha) is said to be universally moving." So it is said. Moreover, it is also the support of consciousness. Second, there are three types of wind: classified by the nature of wind, classified by the way it moves, and classified by its function. The first is six types, namely earth, water, fire, wind, space, and the wind of consciousness. As the sutra says: "The Great自在天 and also water, fire and wind itself,轮涅, the actions of the mind." And "Vairochana and other Buddhas." and so on. The second type is classified by the way it moves, and is divided into two types: the wind of consciousness, whose nature is non-abiding and non-moving; and the wind of karma, whose nature is arising, entering, and abiding. As it says: "Constantly disappearing and running very fast, universally running to all sentient beings." So it is said. The third type is divided into ten types according to its function: life, downward excretion, upward movement, pervasive movement, equal dwelling, as well as dragon, turtle, crab, heavenly gift, and victorious bow. As it says: "The upper door is a combination of three, and the nine doors completely surround it." This is its meaning. What is the relationship between those winds needs to be understood elsewhere. Third, the actions of those winds are divided into common actions and individual actions. Among them, the common action is to serve as the support of consciousness. As it says: "Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, literal Chinese meaning: Ha) has six vowels, and consciousness is universally known." So it is said. In other tantras it says: "This is the great wind element, the mount of the three consciousnesses." So it is said. Moreover, it also does all the actions of producing and increasing the body. As it says: "Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, literal Chinese meaning: Ha) in various ways, Buddha
