The basis for accomplishing a mandala is: Just as in the color and painted mandalas, in order to accomplish the deity, it is necessary to newly create the basis for accomplishment such as hand gestures and body colors, the writer does not need to create anew. The channels and elements exist naturally, that is, from the beginning, and that is the meaning of being its basis for accomplishment. But the body's channels and elements, etc., do not exist from the beginning in the Heruka mandala. If so, it would contradict the statement, "Those who do not know its nature, consider it a vessel." Because it contradicts not knowing the nature of the Chakrasamvara mandala. This is what is written. Secondly, these sequentially show the inappropriateness. The difference between Luipa and Naropa both practicing internally and externally, and the ninth chapter of the Abhisamayalankara only practicing the body mandala, cannot be established by anyone. Because in the ninth chapter of the Abhisamayalankara, first, from the manifestation of enlightenment, the dependent palace and the dependent main deity, father and mother, are generated simultaneously, and then the body mandala is established on the body of the main deity. You yourself have done the same. If that is the case, and it is only the body mandala, then after the dependent mandala has already been generated, when it is appropriate to practice the body mandala, from the complete formation of the parts of the body, each part of the body and its own kind, from the previous kind, the later kind is generated, which contradicts the idea that this is the body mandala, because it is the body mandala before the parts are mixed. Just as from a single (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रूम्, Sanskrit Romanization: bhrūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) syllable all the outer palaces are generated, it is also unexamined to generate the Heruka body mandala simultaneously from the body's span. Generating the palace from (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रूम्, Sanskrit Romanization: bhrūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) is generated in that place, but you do not think that it is generated in that place, and contemplating absorption into the outer palace is just your own fabrication. Furthermore, the meaning of the two soles of the feet spread out and completely formed into the shape of a bow is, first, do you contemplate each wind in the two soles of the feet and then stretch them out? Or do you stretch out the two soles of the feet and contemplate them as wind when they meet the wind? If it is the former, contemplate the wind in the two soles of the feet.

What fault is there in leaving it there after it has been cultivated? According to the latter view, from which scripture or reasoning is it said that the sole of the foot extends outward and becomes completely transformed at the junction? Think carefully about how it appears in your mind. The part of the body's sole is generated into the wind of the four elements. If it is not generated into the wind of the sole, then in the Samputi Tantra it says, "A great wind arises in the sole of the foot." Is this wind a part of the body that is the basis of generation, or is it the wind of the four elements that has already arisen? According to the former, it contradicts the fact that it is not generated into the wind of the sole. According to the latter, it contradicts the fact that the wind that has already arisen is under the palace. If the palace before the body mandala of the ninth manifestation is meditated upon is the outer mandala, then it contradicts the fact that both Lu and Nag meditate on both the outer and inner mandalas, and that this is only the body mandala. If it is not the outer mandala, then it is in all respects the same as the previous palace of Luihipa not being the outer mandala. In the bell body mandala, supplementing the way in which the palace and the main deity arise simultaneously from the Abhisamayalankara is an alteration of all the key points. The way of supplementing in this way has not appeared in any of the transmissions from Mal Gyo, Puhrangpa, or Panchen Shakya Shri, so it is nothing more than a new creation. This new creation is also because of the power of the tenet that one has vowed to generate the outer mandala first on the basis of the practice of the body mandala, so it is inevitable that this will be done. Because it is said that this is an unaltered mandala, it contradicts the fact that an artificial outer mandala is not generated. In the case of the dependent deity, just as it is necessary to newly accomplish two artificial meanings of self-nature, the writer does not need to newly accomplish them. If it is a meaning that has existed from the beginning, then by means of the two artificial things that have been written, the mandala will also become a self-natured mandala, just as the channels and essences of the body mandala need to be newly accomplished from the sperm and blood of the parents, the parents do not need to newly accomplish them, and after they are written, they are the same as existing from the beginning. If the channels and essences of the body have existed from the beginning in the mandala of Heruka, then it is contradictory not to know its nature, as the Uttaratantra says: Sentient beings.
